I was told Indian food in London is better than that in India. I have never been to India but the food at SohoWala is amazing, and it did not cost as much as I heard of other places.

Loved the champagne afternoon tea at Soho Wala / The Courthouse Hotel. Feels a bit strange having afternoon tea in an Indian restaurant but definitely can't fault the food, service and overall experience. The staff were really good about offering more tea and extra clotted cream when I requested.
Very underrated place in Soho that offers tasty street food Indian dishes. I recommend sticking with the small plates and grills instead of the mains.
The chicken matchsticks and okra fries are my favs. The waiter is also so lovely and friendly.
