Chennai Dosa - London - Photo album

We had two Dosas, biryani, and a starter for under £20. Yummy. Cash only though.
Great food- my partner and I eat here regularly, often with his 10 year old daughter (She is a big dosa fan) the food is really delicious, often quite spicy but always well flavoured, served by friendly staff in basic but perfectly fine surroundings. We have only noticed one or two slips in food or
A nice little restaurant with authentic indian dishes. Do remember to ask for the ghee dosa - an amazing crepe with chutney that tastes great . Service is quick and the place is neat and tidy . Economical to the pocket as well. One star less - because its small and cannot accommodate large crowds.
Good food, good value, large portions so be careful you don't get carried away, although you can always take it away with you. No alcahol is served here for religious reasons but they have lots of other beverages available from standard soft drinks, to tea and lassies. Make sure you do have some dos
This is one of family favourites for many years now when it comes to south Indian food in London this is the place. There are few more branches of this restaurant else where but this is local to us. The staff is polite, patient and helpful & food is best if one likes south Indian.
The only reason i gave a 5star is for the one man army service the guy with beard, fair skin, Hindi speaking does. I live nearby and i have been at the restaurant many times the food is alright but the service that the beard guy give is incredible, i think he is the manager well dressed up and wel
As a South Indian I find their food the best in Tooting by far. The weekend breakfast buffet is great value for money - on of the best meals in London for less than 10 GBP. The dosas are nice crisp and hot and the filter coffee is as it would be in South India
I regularly enjoy the buffet and other times order something different to stretch my palette. Tonight was kal dosa with tamarind curry. Really great and totally different. As others have said, the prices are hard to beat.
£5 weekend brekkie gains this place an extra star. While the ambience isn't the reason you'd go there, the South Indian vegetarian fare (unlimited buffet for a fiver) is easily the best value for money I've come across in London.
Authentic flavours, clean environment and friendly staffs. Chicken briyani is a bit chillie hot. Kulfi is on stick. Amazing XXL puri, recommend to try out. Reasonable price as well.
Absolutely outstanding. I went to school Ootacamund (Ooty) in South India for 13 years. I was born in India and lived there 18 years in total. As an 'expert' in Indian, and particular South indian, food I can honestly say this is one of the best I have tasted inside or out of India. The service w
Great dosai, big portions, tremendous value. When I visited a few years ago no alcohol was allowed which knocked me for six. Their menu says they now serve the crazy juice so perhaps it's time to revisit?
