Compelled to write this as I don't understand why only 2.9 out of 5 score when not a single review posted. If anyone doesn't rate this place, I'd be curious why not.
I've only been once but it was excellent. Just too cheap and oversized portions; hardly a complaint.

Even though grilled meats and kebaps feature in this cafe/restaurant, they also have fish and plenty of vegetarian dishes.

I had aubergine stew with a mountain of rice which was awesome. And cheap. But with ALL the complimentary extras (lentil soup, mixed salad, tzatziki) I couldn't finish the meal -let alone try any other dishes.

Next visit I'd like to start working my way through the starters.

Decor is standard cafe style and it would be nice if they added some tablecloths or had some curtains which would make evening dining more attractive. This is all I'd change.

They didn't have any fizzy drinks when I went but had yoghurt drink (which I didn't try as I had it elsewhere and it was too salty), freshly pulped orange juice and tea which was like Turkish tea -served nice and strong and unsugared (how I like it). No alcohol but I guess that's just not their bag; when in Rome..

Service was friendly and attentive. The waitress didn't know which were the traditional Kurdish dishes but checked we had everything and that we were content.

Due to all the complimentary dishes, despite only having one dish -and one of the cheapest at that- I was completely stuffed and the bill was disproportionately low. Basically, I had a slap-up meal for the cost of 2 pints. Bonkers, really. Plan to go back tomorrow

For the price the food is reasonably good. Ribs are a little smaller than usual. Their bread is really nice. They offer you a complimentary lentil soup on arrival. The lamb shank was dry and lacked flavour. We ate for about £25 a head.

I compare everything with price. With £56 and five people, we all got fully full and no room for anything else with leftovers on the table! The food is really delicious with large portions, I'd say each portion is enough for two people as you also get some salad and sides for free. Anyway, note that tea is free and you can get how many teas you want for free. Definitely I will go to this place again. Details: Lamb Qouzi is great. You can get Neck or shoulder whatever you want. It comes with two side dishes and it is enough for two people of course. 9/10 Kurdish Kebab: very soft and delicious lamb kebab- very delicious 8/10 Adana kebab: spicy version of Kurdish kebab 8/10 Mirza Ghasemi: tastes good but not the best 7/10 Kashk bademjaan: I wont order it again as I can definitely make better myself 5/10

Tastiest Kurdish Kabab and Grilled Fish I've ever had abroad since I left Iran. I‘ve been to Nawroz multiple times, and every time it is more heartwarming than the rest. Great ambience, great food, and amazing customer service. I would highly recommend Nawroz (نه‌ورۆز) without a doubt to whoever I know. I love their Lughama Qazi on Saturdays and Sundays Thanks🙏❤️

Taken here by family for dinner..service and food were excellent. Clearly very popular with local community with large family groups enjoying time together. Despite large numbers of diners the service was quick and friendly and never felt rushed to finish our meal or vacate the table. Wide range of menu and drinks options catering to varied tastes and diet.

We went here to celebrate the Iranian New Year. We were welcomed with a free bowl of soup. They don't have an alcohol license, but you can take your own. We had two aubergine starters with bread, then followed by kebab and rice. Service was quick and friendly.

The best restaurant in North London for Middle East food specially the Kurdish Kebabs wow 😋😋😋 very high quality food. The price unbelievably much cheaper than the Turkish restaurant in Green Lane, for the same foods of the Turkish restaurant, you pay almost half price. Highly recommended.

Solid 5! We will definitely be back :) Having recently moved to the area, we felt lucky that this place is a 5 mins walk from home! Great service, amazing welcome with a salad, lentil soup, and a yoghurt based dip - not something one is used to London! The mix grill we chose was just about right for 2 people! Very tasty! They do serve it with traditional, freshly made pitta bread ! Recommended!

Great Kurdish kebab. Ordered kebab today and it was yummy. The hummus was also good. Only the stuffed vine leaves were not good due to the rice type was used in the stuffing which I think it is “long grain” Which we tried cooking at home before and it was not good at all. So, next time I will get the lamb shank because Kurdish restaurants are famous for it! Qozi and beans! #kebab #london
