I had the beef and Stilton pie and it was absolutely out if this world! I honestly can say it was the best pie I have ever had - ever!
The pastry was a perfect crust, not crumbly and stodgy, but light, fine and strong enough to hold as a stout case. The filling was generous. The whole meal was generously portioned.
These are not 'bought in pies'. There is a lovely chap working at the pub and he makes them. The mash was also perfect. ✨❤️✨

Love this pub! The people are friendly and helpful. The pies are so good! They accept cards which was helpful since we were traveling. The pub is comfortable and welcoming. I will miss this place since we have to return home to California. But you will have a place in my heart. To the staff, cheers and thank you!

Been twice this week. A long overdue addition to the local area. Genuinely lovely inside, with a nice little beer garden.

Good range of craft beer on tap that changes occasionally (more IPA’s please!). Sports screens showing whatever big event is on and good pizzas (used to be pies so assume the kitchen changes every so often). Good outdoor areas and staff seem very personable
A fine specimen of a pub, with some good beers. It's still somewhat divided into separate bars, so you can take your pick, and also has a smallish garden at the back and seating in the pavement in front. It was worryingly uncrowded on the Saturday evening that we were there, so I hope it has more people at other times.
A nice lil pub that looks beautiful on the outside and warm and cozy on the inside with a warm welcoming atmosphere and décor. The price here is also fairly affordable and reasonable compared to a few other locations.
Would recommend for a quiet drink, a nice meal, or a quick bite!
Popped in for a pint and was served by the amazing Julia! She was so lovely and made me feel so welcome. She even gave me advice on a housing situation I’m going through as I’m looking to move to London. I asked for her opinion and she was very nice and insightful about it. Great pub. Good pub. Service was super good. Dropped a half pint but the Jordan cleaned up everything and gave me a new one. Very friendly as well. That doesn't happen every day in london. All the best for him and the pub!

Fun local pub. We’ve eaten here twice on our visit to London. Excellent pies, some of the best we had (chicken and wild mushroom and steak and blue cheese) and two for one drinks. Highly recommend!
Came in last week with my partner to meet up with some old friends. Staff were really friendly and the pub has a good range of beers and spirits. Will happily come back again soon. Shout out to Mark for his great service!
Great place. Came in here as an admittedly rowdy group on a birthday run of the beer mile and stayed til the end of the night; the bar staff are lovely, the atmosphere of the place is great and it's well priced!
Julia, was amazing. So kind, friendly and really brought the place to life. Had great information on the beers. Made the whole experience far more enjoyable.

Im regular here I run a small business nearby. I often drop by after work with colleagues for a quick pint and a bite to eat.
the staff are friendly and welcoming and the decor throughout the pub is great plus they also sell freshly made pizza (who doesn’t LOVE pizza right?) Bobbi is a great asset to the team with her smiley face and her bubbly personality. She always makes you feel welcome you never feel alone even when you come by yourself.
I highly recommend The St James Bermondsey for a pint and pizza or good night out on the weekends they have a late license
Delicious vegetarian pie, good music, free WiFi and a nice vibe. Somewhere you can work from during the day too.
