The atmosphere in this place is so calm and welcoming. Love being here. Life music event, classes, cozy library and outside area. Simple and delicious cafe: my favorites salad and tuna melt sandwich on the brown bread with seeds. Heartily recommend!

Chill place, not many people, jackets were good potatoes, the salad had good vinegar, and the jacket filling was very generous! This was 7.50 I think

Amazing community cafe welcoming all ages and backgrounds. The WiFi is good and I worked there for a few hours and also tried a scone and a coffee which was delicious. Very friendly atmosphere, I'd defo come back.

Seems very quiet, as though unknown, but easy to find being opposite the local train station. Indoor seating as well as outdoor with umbrellas/sun shades over the tables.

Enjoyed a really good coffee in the community cafe in Age Exchange yesterday. Managed to resist the tasty looking snacks this time but will be coming back for another americano when I’m in the area. Atmosphere is great and staff and volunteers are so friendly.

Absolutely amazing reminiscence arts groups. I had the privilege of volunteering at a few, and I was incredibly impressed. Everyone was so friendly and cared passionately about the work that they were doing.

I have been lucky enough to attend the belly dance group.Despite my disability and confidence issues,I emerge from the Bakehouse as a new woman!Maria our gorgeous dancer guides our gently and patiently! through the moves .We have so much fun in this very sociable environment and then visit the lovely cafe. The joy of the group is the mix of ages, nationalities and abilities. This is a gem of a group with an amazing teacher.

This place is a gem, you can linger over a cup of tea for an hour without sniffy looks. The library downstairs is alright and the historical artefacts are fun to look at. Theres a nice patio outside too. It can get busy in the mornings with prams and stuff and it's best to check the opening hours before you go.

We went there for a cup of tea. They have every good tea selection and lots of seating available when we visit. I will go back again for sure.

Lovely little place in the Village for a cup of tea, a bit of homemade cake and a good sit down in charming surroundings. Nice little library downstairs and other community facilities too.

Really lovely except for an older male volunteer who works in the cafe and is always a bit unpleasant. It is always a relief when I go in there and he is not working.
