I consider myself extremely fortunate to be based a five minute walk from this little gem of a restaurant. Whenever I am in the office this is my go to lunch hangout. Great food, great service, quirky music for extremely good value indeed.
So lucky to have lunch in this small but lovely resturant. The food is amazing and the price is lovely. Highly recommend
I ordered the salmon bento box and the prawn gyoza, both were delicious and very authentic. I love Japanese food and am delighted to have found a great restaurant so close to Canary Wharf. Can't wait to try some of the other dishes on the menu!!
Delicious Japanese food at canary wharf, competitive price with high quality food is served by lovely staff!
Amazing food , really reasonable prices and great service! Will be definitely back .
Small place with great Japanese sushi and tempura :-) cannot wait to try ramen
Great service and amazing food. A real treasure. I plan on having everything on the menu, twice.
Good option for Japanese food in Canary Wharf. Ordered takeout from from here several times and decided to try and eat in. The restaurant is quite cosy and the service was great, very attentive and friendly. Ordered their chicken teriyaki bento box and was very pleased with the portion size. Everything tasted quite good. Will visit again to try more of their sushi dishes next time around.
Authentic Japanese food at Canary Wharf, great value of the food with high quality, staff is very lovely too! My favourite dishes are the Salmon Teriyaki Bento, Sashimi Salad, Salmon Tataki, Chicken Katsu Don, Grilled Scallop and so much more - online order is available (yuhoki.co.uk) and get 10% off on collection. Free delivery to E14, E16 and E3 areas. Overall, a highly-recommended Japanese restaurant & takeaway in East London. You Must-try if you haven't!!! :)))
Food is very good, the nigiri Eel is amazing and the spicy beef ramen is wonderful. One of those places where you feel bad having paid the service charge, to be honest. This is the place that will make me ask for it to be removed
Went with a friend while visiting the area and can't recommend it enough! The waitress was extremely friendly and welcoming, despite being small and going on a Saturday we were sat straight away and food came quickly and was so good I forgot to take more pictures
The decoration is basic, however the sushis are fresh and the cashier was very polite.
Have been ordering here for delivery for some time, and this was first visit in person. It's a little tucked away but nice. Friendly and welcoming staff. Food was, of course, good. Sake very reasonably priced.
This is a lovely little restaurant tucked away in Canary wharf.
The food here is of high quality and priced reasonably. I enjoyed it very much.
Service was great. Usually if you order tap water you'd have to ask for a refill but this was done without any prompting.
Chicken is only Halal.
I will definitely go back here.
Went to have lunch here around 2 p.m. on a Saturday and although it wasn't full of customers, there were still a whole load of takeaway orders being prepared so the restaurant was busy, but our food still came to the table very promptly and every dish we ordered turned out to be great!
I probably won't say it's the best Japanese food I've had, but given the price (less than £10 for that Katsu dish!) and compared to more established places like 'Wagamama', then Yuhoki is an amazing choice! It's a small restaurant so not sure how difficult it will be to get a table during peak hours, but I'd recommend it to anyone who's around Canary Wharf and craving Japanese food!
Found another tiny jewel, a wonderful sushi restaurant hiding in Canary Wharf, Yuhoki. The atmosphere is fantastic, ingredient is fresh and staff are very friendly.
The tempura prawns are highly recommended and the sushi is delicious. The restaurant also offers a long list of Japanese Sake to accompany all the delicious food.
Very authentic taste and affordable price. It’s very quite when I went there even though it’s Saturday. They deserve more customer!
Small friendly restaurant with decent menu and reasonable prices. The takoyaki, seaweed salad, unagi and sushi that we ordered were all delicious. Ordered spicy grilled lamb, but it was neither spicy nor grilled. It was stir fried, mostly onion and the portion was very small for the price. Also had a beef curry - again portion was small and there was hardly any rice. Shame because otherwise the restaurant would be a good 4.5 stars.
They have quite a wide range of options from sushi, sashimi to don. Ordered a sushi roll set and it fed 2 people well.
