New Taj Mahal Restaurant - London - Photo album

Cute place. Really small. Food was really nice. Service was also pretty fast. A bit pricey but it’s ok for the area. I can recommend it.
Was here for three times and enjoyed it every time. The food is delicious. And the Service is nice. The first time I was there with my family everyone wanted chicken curry (because no one knew the other Things on the card) and the waiter just said I won't bring you four times the same. So he explane
Been visiting New Taj Mahal for over 25 years. Quality of food and service has always been above average to very good. While there might be other trendy places that peak and then disappear, the restaurant remained as a consistent standby for every one of my visits to London.
Really enjoyed my meal here. Ate tandoori dishes and they were very good. Supporting vegetable dishes well cooked and tasty although a touch on the salty side and hence the 4* rating. The restaurant is tiny and downstairs, not suitable for anyone with limited mobility.
One of the best places to go for authentic Indian food! I love the flavours at Taj and the staff is really friendly and helpful. Being Indian, I like the fact that the food is absolutely authentic and healthy ( not submerged in loads and loads of oil like other places). You won't be disappointed.
This is a tiny gem of a restaurant, hidden downstairs & has been serving Sheperds Market for 30 + years. We have visited several times & the food has never disappointed, the dishes are authentic, very tasty & good value. The owner has always been there to greet with a warm welcome & a wealth of know
Love this place. No idea what the other low scoring reviews are on about. I've been here a few times and the food has always been delicious. Very authentic tasting daal and other wonderful dishes. The interior is very sweet with only a few tables and the owner and staff are all lovely. Highly recomm
Fabulous restaurant to enjoy delicious Indian dishes. The food was nicely presented and all hot and freshly made. Would highly recommend this hidden gem. The beer and the water was nice and cold on a very warm evening
A gem! Just the restaurant I wanted to visit -- classic Indian family-style cooking in the center of London. Great food, friendly and engaged service, fair prices for Mayfair, and a small intimate yet lively dining room that made for a wonderful evening all around. Went on a Sunday evening after
A sweet little restaurant, intimate atmosphere, with just about 6 tables and its run by the owner - I love eating at places like this, they are rare nowadays. My husband had the lamb vindaloo which was spicy but he couldn't get enough of it and I had a chicken tikka dish with rice and it was perfect
Fantastic little find off Piccadilly. Very small, probably only 5 or 6 tables. Food was excellent and competitively priced. Service was as good and very good humoured. Cobra only served in small bottles ( but at big bottle prices!!).
The review above/below (Watch dealer swiss) is clearly a FAKE, the profile has no info and only one activity which was this review. Been coming to this place for god knows how many years and never have i thought twice about eating at another Indian cuisine. The menu offers a variety of dishes for mi
Marvellous Food! Awesome ambience.. i love Indian Food and was looking to take out few friends for an indian treat. Luckily found this restaurant (recommended by an indian friend)and was delighted over all as a customer. Excellent customer service and friendly staff. Food was awesome too.
If you are looking for a traditional curry place to check out New Taj Mahal. One of the best curry places in Mayfair for authentic home cooked curry. One of my favourites lamb Rogan. I have been coming here for 9 years. Amazing food, service by chacha.
