We strongly believe that this is the best cheesemonger in town. Their cheese room is stocked with a pretty impressive selection. If you get too overwhelmed or simply need a hand, the friendly staff will help you out. Make sure to also take a seat at their café, where they serve charcuterie, baked goods and wine.

i had slices of toasted granary with strawberry preserves and seville orange marmalade. the marmalade was excellent with a sharp edge and slightly acid sweetness.

This is my go-to for anything cheese related! They have a great selection and the people working there are very helpful! They also have a nice selection of other things (cakes, tapenades, crackers) that would go perfectly on a charcuterie board in the front!

One of the best specialist food shops in London I remember first shopping here when they first opened before Jamie Oliver was even the Naked Chef! Top quality cheeses in perfect condition a real heart beat in the Highbury Community

Fantastic selection of french cheese in the chilled back room, & an adorable front area (with 2 tables for outdoor seating on the sidewalks) for dining in or purchasing baked goods, breads & snacks. Menu is small, but the croissant & jam were delicious, & the service was great!

Excellent staff totally knowledgeable and helpful. Only thing is you pay a lot of money for cheeses and other items like beans, Aubergines etc. But all good is top top quality

The staff here are very friendly and knowledgeable to help you pick your cheese. The highbury shop is much smaller than the Marylebone one but it still has a nice selection of cheese for the neighborhood. It has a few seats inside for those that would like to sit down for some cheese but it is a very small store.

Wonderful place with a rustic design. Just go if you want a nice little treat either cafe wise or to shop. I had a quiche and the pastry was first class. The refridgerated cheese section at the back is amazing.

I went here a few days ago to get a selection of cheese for a picnic. I splashed out a bit as it was a special occasion. Because of the pandemic you have to wait at the door and they serve you from there. You ask them for specific items or can ask them to help you choose. It is pricey I wouldn't go here for my weekly shopping but it's a nice treat. And they are dealing with the social distancing well.

My partner and I take the dog on a 1.5hr pilgrimage, with La Fromagerie as the end destination. Fantastic array of cheeses; really friendly and knowledgable fromagers who recommend wonderful/new/interesting cheeses and great tips on how to best enjoy them.

A great selection of cheeses. Has a lovely little cafe in store too. Staff a very knowledgeable and only too happy to help you. A popular store all year round but gets crazy at Christmas. You could be waiting an hour to get served.

Recently purchase a cheese wedding cake for a wedding. The support and guidance received from Julia in store was incredible; Julia ran through ever tier, providing the options and linking everything together. On collection, everything was ready and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended for all occasions.

One of my favourite cheese shops in London, this place has never failed me and catered for my needs. My only issue is that occasionally when I do come in, the staff aren't quite as willing to take us through the cheeses and let us try. It's generally busy, but still not an excuse for brusque staff!

A bit expensive but excellent quality. Awesome selection of cheeses from different countries. Good sweet and savoury baked goods. Lovely atmosphere, great service, almost encyclopedic knowledge. Definitely worth a visit.
