The Sun - London - Photo album

The Sun, a great pub by Grafton square, the Polygon and Old Street. History and mathematics all in the same place, backed up by the sun related pictures on the wall. A lovely place with both cask and keg beers on offer. Lovely service and a great time had by all.
Traditional pub serving camden pale ale on draft which is always a blessing. Food was good, the cauliflower wings went down well.
Chilled vibe with lovely friendly staff. Rustic dining with zero pretense. The Sun is perfect to just kick back and relax. Popped in to see my cousin but all the staff were so friendly and knowledgeable we stayed all night. Emily made us feel special with some incredible cocktails from the well stoc
Staff are very friendly! Food was fantastic, we had the pork, chicken and nut roast and was delicious, chef Justin came out and spoke to us as well to check on us. Great service and would come back again
We had a nice meal and the staff were nice and service good. However after our meal we asked to order puddings . We were told there was a 45 minute to an hour wait which is totally unacceptable. I know that others coming into eat were being told the same for lunch . This is poor planning . As a cons
Had a fab time at The Sun! Such a great atmosphere and the team were great. I was served by Katie and she was really kind about my fussy order, and made a great pineapple mezcalita which was amazing!! Thank you so much Katie and team for a great visit. Will definitely be coming back.
We had arranged to have celebratory drinks with our friends at the Sun. We had booked to have an outdoor area, however it poured it down with rain. The staff at the Sun went above and beyond to try and keep our party indoors while they were fully booked. They were friendly and wouldn't hesitate to c
Went for a reunion and was offered the upstairs dining room, communication beforehand was always clear, food/drink menu choices were very flexible. The train strike meant we lost a lot of numbers for the evening but they never put undue pressure on me at any stage to make decisions or finalise exact
Lovely place for midweek drinks! The service was amazing, Kate on the bar was so friendly and made sure my Diet Coke didn’t contain peanuts (I’m deathly allergic)! Would definitely come back again!
I visited the sun for lunch where I had some fab food and overall lovey experience. It has such a friendly atmosphere and I will definitely be coming back. Thank you to our server Emily who was incredibly helpful and gave great service. I would 100% recommend to anyone!
Really great pub and a regular for us in my house - I did get dumped over text whilst there last week but the great service from Katie (I think that’s her name) keeps me coming back. She gave me some great advice and an expertly poured pint. Thanks!
Don’t often leave reviews but making an exception here, the staff were extremely friendly and I have to comment because I was served the single best pint of Guinness I have ever had outside of Ireland poured by the ginger girl at the bar, it was perfect. Brilliant pub will visit again purely for tha
Returning to our ‘old stomping ground’ with two children and grandparents raised my concerns as to whether we may not feel totally at ease during this long established nostalgic venue visit. They were soon abated by the excellent staff welcome. We were all really well looked after and seated outside
What an outstanding venue with outstanding staff. Last Friday we had hired a room at a local pub following the funeral of my mother. After 3 hours we were told that we had to leave as they had to set up for evening dinner and we would not be able to stay. I went across to The Sun and spoke to the
Lovely place, a big garden with a lot of room for a sunday. Came here to see a couple of mates, and we all had a great time. Served by the lovely Jake and Kobi. Pints are served cold which really helps with the heaping hot weather and gives you time to relax. Team on shift was really engaging with o
Really fun night out for company drinks, speedy and organised service, great staff and a lovely outdoor area too, would love to come back and would defo recommend to others!
Booked a table for a birthday on a bank holiday weekend. We were accommodated which was appreciated! The pub got extremely busy so we just used the table service QR Code and got our beers and food that way. The wait times were very reasonable. As far as London pubs go it's in line with the crazy p
