Great food, great atmosphere and family friendly place. Napoletan food and nice selection of wines. Best pizza in town. All prices are reasonable. I would recommend.

First time for us. Great little pizzeria, run by a real Italian! Friendly and helpful. The pizzas were really big, and tasted exactly like they do in Italy. One of us had stewed rabbit, which was a big piece of meat with a really tasty sauce, and all the trimmings. It was lunchtime so not many there, but you probably need to book at busy times. Most of the punters were Italian or. Came as a large group of 20. Excellent food and service. Food freshly cooked. Great value. Highly recommend.

Very much worth a visit. Italian food really well done by a real enthusiast! Just been for the second time. The first time - late September - we tried the traditional Sicilian dishes on the menu and were very impressed. This time we tried more standard fare, but even then there were Sicilian elements that made it that little bit special. Can't recommend too highly!

I've been to this restaurant tens of times and it's fabulous. The service is good (great if you're lucky enough to get the wonderful lady who treats people like family!) The menu is large, and everything my friends and I have had there (a lot!) The decor is dark wood and brick, lots of nooks, perfect for an intimate two or a large party. Can get a bit loud if there are a couple of parties on. A local fave.

I visited this restaurant with 3 other friends tonight. The inside was cosy but still open plan, with some nice decor. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating (especially the one main waiter, Stefano). The food came promptly and tasted really nice and authentic. Tap water came with ice and lemon which was a nice touch, and there were a wide range of deserts, all on display in a little trolley! The price was average for London, although maybe slightly expensive for the suburbs. Generally was quiet on a Wednesday night but still wasn't intimidatingly so. Overall, a very nice restaurant with decent food for a good price. Service was great. Give it a try!

What a wonderful discovery. It felt we were on holiday in Napoli with the ambience and decor. Very authentic and so well maintained in cleanliness and presentation. Then came the food...WOW! Pizza, pasta and seafood were chosen by our group of five. Every dish was delightful and unique. From creation to delivery, the owners Maurizio & Ana put their 'heart and soul' into this place - ingredients are carefully selected for quality with some unusual pasta and scratch made sauces I've seldom seen before in a UK Italian restaurant. Seafood was outstanding. Fresh and of real quality. Simple dishes were done extremely well which is where most other restaurants falter. The pizzas are SUPERB, served on tasty, well proven thin crispy bases with varieties of authentic Italian toppings (plus the usual ones too). Ana looked after us attentitively, with chef Maurizio joining us later, making the event really special. A decent, hard-working family run restaurant on our doorstep - their effort is worth it because it comes out in the food and a foodie like me can really taste that. We loved it and Anema E Core is now our 'go-to' Italian of choice. We went three weeks ago, and we're still talking about it. Any negatives? Regular menu is a tad smaller than most, but it means they can offer fresh daily specials on the blackboard and the restaurant can focus on high quality food produced from fresh, scratch cooked ingredients and also maintain the quality of the regular menu offering. This restaurant is a gem.

I've just visited Sopranos with my family for dinner. Brilliant service with excellent food. All food prepared freshly, so expect a wait. Our starter and mains were all great, couldn't say one as better than the other. From the ravioli to the penne to the pizza all as good as I've had anywhere else in London. So people of Southgate and surroundings, you don't need to go to Central London any longer. Get yourselves down there, you won't regret it. I'm already planning my next visit. The staff are polite and welcoming with a smile at all times.

Great little venue. As you would expect from the name Soprano, The theme is all about Tony Soprano and of course the greatest Godfather of them all Marlon Brando. The walls are covered in black and white pictures depicting these characters. One of the most amazing things about this family run restaurant is the friendly staff who made us feel so welcome; although they were busy they were attentive to all our needs. The other important factor was the flavour of the food, which was simply amazing, the presentation, the manner in which it was served (with a smile) the way it was placed in front of me; Just made everything perfect. I asked for the house red wine, surprisingly it was good; it wasn’t a cheap nasty wine which I have received in other restaurants. The bill was reasonable and good value for money. A massive thank you to our servers, Ildi, John Carlo, Kuwar, apologies to the other staff that i’ve forgotten your names but I haven’t forgotten the service you gave. Highly recommend Soprano’s, we had a great night out, we will definitely come again.
