Delicious, home-style Indian food - I loved the potato appetizer, the bhindi, the biryani, the Raita and the daal. The service was excellent, and their drinks are really interesting as well. What really stood out to me was the decor - they’ve done a fabulous job designing this place with vivid colors, bright pillows and interesting artwork. Amazing dining experience, I will definitely be back!

Amazing food, with a distinct Indian flavour. We tried the chicken korma and the Taar Gosht and they were both delicious. The cocktails are quite good too. Would definitely go back to try the rest of the menu.

Authentic mughalai Indian. Delicious Murg makhkhni (butter chicken) and lamb chops. The naan bread went well with the main course. If after all the mouth watering starters and main course you manage to save space I'll highly recommend the rasmalia. I think I just found my favourite Indian in London.

Food was amazing! Though not overly impressed by the cocktails. But will definitely be back! Had an amazing birthday dinner :)

Excellent food - classic North Indian and the lamb biryani is 👌🏼 Nice ambience - the setting is nice Lucknowi style, easy setting although the tables are laid out well Great service - not too many Indian faces but service is warm and efficient

We went to Lucknow last week, and honestly had one of the best Indian meals I've ever had. It's astonishingly good value for money too. I recommend everyone tries the lamb chop starter. Absolutely perfect. I'm a bit of a foodie, and I also spend a month a year in India, so it's such a delight to find a restaurant in London that really shows just how incredible the flavours can be. I'll be back as regularly as I can make it. Oh, also.... Mayfair restaurants aren't known for being laid back. This one is. It's fantastic.

My son and I are foodies. We also.love great Indian cuisine. Thus, I am very pleased to confirm that Lucknow 49 is the "real deal"!! We asked our server to select our dishes, after explaining that we preferred meat over vegetarian. The wonderful result? A basket of mixed naan, a dish of rice, smoked chicken and lamb shank. Superb!! We already

Probably Mayfair’s most underrated Indian restaurant. The food is definitely the focus of the experience, but the atmosphere is complementary. Laid back, comfortable seating and not too loud nor dead quiet. The menu changes time to time which can create some inconsistencies in quality.

Heard about 49 from my brother who never fails to recommend the best of places. It was central so I was expecting a call to the bank manager but I was pleasantly surprised by the prices. Getting great food at a good price simply adds to the flavour and makes me want to return even more. It's not always about the price but more about the way you feel during and after. We were there for hours eating and laughing, not once looking at the clock or dreading a surprise. Loved it simply doesn't come close to describe how much a recommend this place.

Have eaten at Lucknow 49 now quite a few times since it has opened, and bar a few little teething problems they have never failed to impress. Everybody I have had the pleasure in taking to Lucknow 49 has left in awe of the food, décor and drinks. All have recommended the restaurant and all have or will be returning. The food is authentic Lucknavi cuisine and not what you may expect from an Indian restaurant, Chef Irfan with his heritage in this cuisine has produced some great dishes one of my fav's amongst many has to be the Ghost Barrah Chops, along with the very reasonable non-Mayfair pricing and chic décor its a must. The drinks menu may be small but packs an amazing punch from the small vineyard wines, to the curated cocktails with a twist. my wife recommends the Bhavbini. As for deserts, yesterday I saw two new offerings on the menu and yes I had to try both. Both the Rasmalai and the Halwa (Heritage purple carrot fudge) yes carrots were great, so much flavour and just right after the rich meal we had.

OMG OMG OMG!! I am such a picky eater with restaurants. Lucknow 49 will go down in history as my all time favorite food and experience. Cute place. Excellent staff. And the food is amazing! We loved the prawns SO much we ordered a second round. Wishing I lived here so I could go every week. And the prices are very reasonable. It is a “must go” - you will not be disappointed. Enjoy!

Love this place for being so hip, relaxed and cosy with amazing flavoursome food that leaves you wanting more...definitely not your run of mill curry house. My favourite standout dishes were the Goat Biryani, Lamb Rann Masala & of course not forgetting Bhindi. As for the cocktails David has come up with some exceptional takes on your standard cocktails...will be back again and again!
