The Mermaid Clapton - London - Photo album

The best Sunday roast I've ever had. We popped in to check out the latest incarnation of this venue. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, so much so that you sat up and noticed. The beer selection was great, too; I particularly liked the amber ale, it might have been called Jack somethin
One of my favourite places in the world. Incredible selection of beers, knowledgeable staff and good atmosphere. Rarely too packed, good food selection and nice sunny front garden (if the weather behaves itself; heaters if it doesn't). They also do great beer tasting events. Highly recommended.
Really nice, friendly staff and a good selection of artisan beers on draft. I visited on a Tuesday evening for a beer after work and there was a chilled, relaxed vibe. Good selection of board games to play, and a downstairs which I can imagine gets busy on weekends. I’d like to visit again to try th
Great selection of every changing beers. The staff are really helpful and will often let you have a small taste if you don't know what you like. Food options have improved a lot too with options for Saturday brunch and Sunday roasts.
Absolute fav pub in London! It's under new management, and they couldn't be nicer. Outstanding service. The owners make you feel so welcome and at home and have completely transformed the vibe already. Can't wait for them to start the food, as if the current beer and service is anything to go by I'm
Lovely Sunday roast, relaxed local feel. Staff are always friendly and they have a great selection of beers. I don't drink beer but they also do a lovely g&t. Recommend the monkey 47.
Great drinks and great staff. Excellent recommendations for craft beer and good conversation too. Going in fairly late, never felt rushed and always attended to with excellent understanding of people's preferences and the knowledge to point in just the right directions to round out the night.corey a
Amazing local pub, the owners make you feel right at home. The staff offer you table service and a bar tab if you wish and there are many craft beers on tap. An amazing homely experience in the center of London.
Such a hipster pub!! Good little vegan burger! Tasted better than meat! Great selection of beer. Not a particularly diverse customer base, why are London pubs unable to attract a more ethnicity diverse crowd?! Hmmm
Great little pub run by some really enthusiastic owners (new management) willing to let you try everything but you choose and bring your drinks to your table. They've invested in a mighty selection of board games too for weekend chilling and have started doing food. Building up a nice local followin
Balled over by the Mermaid pub. Been in a few times now with my family and we will definitely be back! Friendly and attentive service. Huge selection of great beers and the most delicious food with each dish on the menu offered in half portions for kids! Cannot recommend this place highly enough 🙏
An ever changing, very exciting beer selection. They've changed the menu since I last ate here, but the food I did have was very very tasty - I'm excited to try out the new food! Friendly, helpful staff too.
Cracking beer selection, cozy but modern interior, knowledgeable staff. Enjoyed a big sharing bottle of a funky 8.5% saison for not too much money. Long necks ranged from 17-28 pounds, and there were plenty of beers on tap.
The Mermaid is a fantastic pub. Amazing staff, all of them are so cool, polite and friendly. Great range of beers both on tap and bottled. Loads of events on like comedy and live music. Games downstairs and a big screen with Mario karts. Best pub in Clapton by far!!
Incredible beer selection in a small, renovated premises. Arancini starter was very good, but basically this is a place for full on beer nerds - fair warning, some of the prices on the specially imported tap beers, or large format bottles, are pretty epic (£5 per half pint for one, highest I've ever
Really great veggie food, try the cabbage! So nice to have more creative options rather than just a mushroom burger. Good space, nice atmosphere, big screens for football. I'd definitely recommend it!
I'm not into the beguiling selection of beers at all ( this is a common feature of my travels) but I am a big fan of the low light, clean and simple interior and negornis on tap. It's never too busy and the food elevates itself above standard pub fair. More vosibvisib of other drinks options would b
