Lovely, relaxing place to enjoy a coffee and brunch, beautifully presented, high quality food and naughty treats. Wonderful staff and very pleasing ambiance.
Delicious home made food (highly recommend trying parmigiana and banana cake!) and very friendly and helpful staff. I would highly recommend stopping by for homemade lunch or coffee when you're in the area.
Great place to drink very good coffee/fresh juices and to eat homemade food! Jazz music in the background and great customer service! I recommend you tomato soup! :-)
We visited the cafe after completing the moonwalk. We had emailed to reserve our table. When we arrived the staff couldn't be friendlier. Our drinks were brought to us quickly think they could tell we needed our cup of tea. The food was lovely and freshly cooked. It was a lovely way to end or night/Morning. Thank you. X
This is a lovely and relaxing place with a great range of drinks (hot and cold) especially the fruit juices and smoothies! It also has excellent soups, hot food and an abundance of fresh and mouthwatering cakes. Will certainly be back in the future given the friendly staff and atmosphere!!
This place is a gorgeous find on the Clapham Park Road. The owners are so lovely and kind and the coffee was fab. I am going back next week to try the amazing looking cakes. It's a lovely cosy setting with a really lovely and personable atmosphere, I can't recommend it enough!
This is a really lovely place.
Great food and drinks with excellent customer service.

Just perfect...I will be back
Coffee Wake Cup is everything you could want from an independent café. Clean, well-kept and well attended. It provides a very relaxing and calm atmosphere with great ambience. The excellent food arrives in generous portions. The space is low-key and comfy, not too bright (no stark lighting – my major bugbear!) with amenable hours – open every day till 6pm. Staff are always welcoming and friendly. There is lovely, quiet Jazz music in the background. The café is just a one-minute walk from Clapham Common Tube. Being tucked-away, it is another of London’s true hidden gems – with often intriguing artwork (including mine!) shown in regular exhibition.
Delicious home made food (highly recommend trying parmigiana and banana cake!) and very friendly and helpful staff. I work around the corner from there and it's always a great place to take a break and grab coffee/food. Coffee wake up is off the high street but I would highly recommend visiting if you're in the area.
Tucked away from busy high street it is a very nice coffee with interesting and delicious choices for sweet toothed :-)
We also had some panini steer which were good.
Staff is very friendly and always go extra mile for you.
Another great thing is that they have WiFi so great alternative to overly busy Starbucks.
I think the photo speaks for itself, lovely brunch and friendly staff! If I had to pick faults, the beans were quite watery and the sausage was a tad bland, but for the price paid I think the quality is absolutely fair
Do note that it is table service, we walked in and queued at the counter but were then told to find our own table
A proper cafe and more.
Having walked past here many times before I thought I best give it a try. I’m so very pleased I did so, this is now my new regular cafe.
Friendly staff give the place a homely feel.
The food is a greasy spoon style but there is more to it. Proper coffee, a good range of quality pastries. The sandwiches looked good too.
It was priced fairly too, my fry up was what you would expect. You certainly get a decent amount for the price compared to some other chain based cafes. It is good value for the quality of ingredients.
I was passing by and went in for brunch. It was around midday during the week and it was a little busy. They have a lot of weekday deals (sandwich and hot drink), which are very reasonably priced.
I was served quickly and easily found a table. The cafe is cosy, the music was non-irritating and overall the atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant.
The coffee was good and served extra hot- the way I like it. The full English breakfast was also very good. The highlight were the mushrooms, which were full of flavour (and not some mushy mess like in other places). The dish was presented with care and not overflowing with grease. One negative- The beans were a little watery.
Overall, I had a relaxing and tasty brunch. The prices are extremely fair and I was frankly surprised, considering I would pay double for a similar quality elsewhere in the area.
The staff were efficient and friendly albeit a little busy keeping the cafe running. I would definitely return and try their other brunch dishes.
The veggie breakfast was very nice.I went in early so pretty quiet. However definitely recommended if u r in and around Clapham south/common area and looking for some good breakfast option
This is a lovely cafe for breakfast, lunch or just a cup of coffee! The price is reasonable and food is great as well. The staff was friendly. Just to note that, the waiting time could be long on weekends. I love this cafe and have been here many times. It’s one of my favoirites in the neighborhood!
This cute brunch cafe is my favorite in my neighborhood ☺️
Their food is yummy and such a good value!
I normally order wrap or ciabatta and smoothie every time I go.
Their smoothies are made fresh and tasty and are good portion. Wrap and ciabatta are also yummy😋
They have good selection of food and many customers seem to like their brunch menus as well.
Highly recommend this place and will come back again for sure.👍🏼

I ventured into this little cafe yesterday, I received a warm welcome and great service. The food was spectacular and reasonably priced and also lovely coffee too. I will hopefully visit again soon and definitely recommend to others ☺️
My neighbour/friend both went in search of a decent but still well-priced cooked breakfast. I should add that he's vegetarian and I have an assistance dog so I have a good idea of where most good 'breakfast & brunch' joints are in SW4 that allow dogs and serve a range of good food but most of them tend to cost over £15 before coffee & service fee so, after being refused entry from the cafe opposite due to my assistance dog, we went into 'Coffee Wake Cup' after having walked right past it for years!
We waited a short while to get served - which was fine as it allowed us to peruse the menu - and then ordered one standard English breakfast and one vegetarian breakfast plus a cup of tea and a coffee. The drinks arrived first and the cup of tea was actually a full teapot plus the americano coffee was in a larger mug than I'm used to getting plus came with a small jug of hot milk - lovely! Then the food arrived and it was a very good spread of classic English breakfast items for me, all well cooked and not at all greasy, with the feedback on the equally tasty vegetarian breakfast being in the form of a question as to "why on earth haven't we been in here before?!" That sums it up and we both got exactly what we'd looked for - a well-priced & good quality cooked breakfast!
Super nice food. Quick service. Decent prices. Lovely staff. Couldn’t get over how much flavour everything had today. Best breakfast I’ve eaten for a while
Fantastic food, beautifully relaxed venue and lovely, friendly, professional staff. This cafe is an absolute treasure. You can dined from an extensively varied quality menu cooked to your request. Indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely pop in if you're in Clapham and feeling hungry. ❤
Amazing breakfast, really accommodating staff and very helpful.
Food looks really nice, but the taste was a bit bland. I don't know what is it about it, but I wasn't impressed. But if I was hungry, I'd go back as there aren't enough options for a good English breakfast in the area. For for a £10 breakfast, I'd expect better taste.
Coffee was not good, tasted watered down. The carrot juice was nice and service was really nice.
It looks like a nice place, but could improve a little bit.
Best breakfast in a long time ☀️🍳
We had a nice classic English breakfast in Coffee Wake Cup. Quick service and a very friendly server!
Got to try out their hot chocolate. Normal hot chocolate but then topped off with milk foam and Cadburys flake flakings. It was masterful.
Such a brilliant cafe - the food was absolutely delicious and so reasonably priced. This place is tucked off the main row of cafes by Clapham Common but definitely worth a visit. Will be returning for sure!
I recently visited Coffee Wake Cup and was blown away by the excellent coffee and food. The quality was outstanding and exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be returning to Coffee Wake Cup and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch coffee and food experience.
A lovely place with a great brunch menu. Order the pancakes with berries and mascarpone, you won't regret it.
Lovely coffee shop with excellent produce and amazing freshly made sandwiches, salads, pasta, sweet treats, smoothies and coffee
