An amazing family-friendly pub / restaurant with some great offers throughout the week and huge discounts. Under new management and things are starting to look up! Great atmosphere and staff. Would definitely recommend to anyone!
Can't believe it took so long for me to get round to going here. This is under new management and looks like good things are set to come.
Went for a lazy afternoon drink and bar snacks. The menu is interesting looking with some nice twists on original snacks like poppy seed onion rings which were yummy.
There's a good selection of beers with some craft ales on tap.
I was surprised at how big it is inside and has a nice decor and atmosphere. The punters included a lot of trendy mums and dads in the afternoon and a stag do of merry men later. Odd mix! Nice though. There's a great big screen showing sports, they have sky and BT so you're not gonna miss a game. Lots of comfy seats to sink back in to too.
There's a good sized garden at the back where posters are promising BBQS, Pimms tent and beach huts from 25th May so be sure to check out that on a sunny day!
Staff were very nice and efficient. Can't wait to have a full meal there soon!
Delicious food, attentive staff and a pleasure to visit on a Sunday afternoon. Booking ahead advised for weekends. The desserts were the best I've had in a long while!
Great Sunday roast and burger options, chilled atmosphere with great local beers from Gypsy Hill Brewery (my favourite). Very friendly staff and great for the family for a comfortable Sunday afternoon or any time of the week!
Had a really nice Sunday dinner here, in a lovely sheltered outdoor space. The food was really good (had the lamb roast), only niggle were the veggies, everything else spot on. Great choice of desserts too and friendly service.
Great take over and had a wonderful night with some excellent beers and street food.
Love what they've done to the garden at the back, very cosy.
Great outdoor area with full cover and some heaters. Good atmosphere. It was pretty crowded outside but that'll probably die down when the inside is open. Great food options (pizza, vegan) and nice beer selection (about 4 pale ales on tap)

Best gastro pub I have eaten in for a while. I was not going to write this review after the first time I ate there as I wanted to keep this gem to myself. But having been utterly treated to another amazing Sunday Roast I thought I should share the love- they deserve to be complimented. The chefs there are really showing off...and they can!! I have worked in the restaurant business myself for many years and know how hard it is to pull off top class food- given the vagaries of the weather and customer demand. But this place smashes it. I ate there as a table of ten- with another table for the kids. I had food envy for many of the dishes but to name a few the Tuna Tacos are beautifully balanced- the pork belly blends fat and meat perfectly- and each of the vegetables were perfectly done...and the Hep Cat lager and Organic House wine are both great. Kids had a big selection too from Pizza to mini roasts. The staff were very happy and welcoming and seemed to like working there- we felt very looked after and treated. So at risk of not getting a table next time...I will share their love and I highly recommend this place. I Loved it and woke up on Monday not wincing at the bill...it was certainly all worth it!!
Really nice experience here. Wasn't a huge fan of the pasta but it wasn't for me but my nephew so if he loved it it's fine for me. The ribs are big omg you need to be prepared. I liked my mocktail it's kids friendly with this park. The sun is there all the staff is nice so I liked it

Strong menu. Lots of 0% beer options for the non-drinkers (which is surprisingly rare in South London!) and the Roasts are the best in the area!

Lovely relaxed pub with a great atmosphere, great food and absolutely fantastic staff - was seriously impressed with their care and attention! Also great garden and good for larger groups. Thanks for looking after us so well :)
Really good menu, lots of choice, including vegetarian / vegan options. Staff are friendly and atmosphere is good. Only downside is service for drinks is a little slow. Will be back for sure!
