Inside decor is lovely and quaint. A lovely place to go for a quite dinner with the right ambience of instrumental chilled Indian music.
Had the thali and some curries and poppadoms. All very nice and flavoursome.
On the curry scale, I'd say this Indian restaurant was more traditional restaurant r
Probably the best curry I’ve ever had! Delicious Bengali food and really lovely, friendly staff. So affordable especially considering how good the food was. All in all a wonderful experience - can’t wait to go back!

Not dined in for years but staff were very attentive and food spot on, now I rely on delivery once a week. I'll say it - THE BEST in Stokey if not London. Never had a bad meal; chicken is 'real chicken' not defrosted diced Chicken. The Lamb is always tender without any gristle or fat.
If I want a decent Indian meal this is always my go-to spot, I've never had a bad meal or experience here, I absolutely LOVE this place!
Excellent Indian food in a non-pretentious setting. Service is friendly and the staff couldn’t be nicer. The menu js massive so it’s hard to pick but everything we had was excellent with my personal favorite being the momos. Great place!

I’ve been going here since I was a teenager , I’m 45 now ! I’ve dined in near enough every Indian restaurant around islington, stoke newington and everywhere , this is by far the best Indian food at a BIR.

I hadn't been here for years and so was hoping it was still as good as I'd remembered. It did not disappoint, the food tasted fresh and each dish had amazingly complex flavours. We ordered the lamb madras and chicken Dhansak with a few sides to compliment...all really delicious. Will be back! :)

I haven't seen duck on an Indian menu before, I went for the duck bhuna and was very happy with it - there was a lot of meat, and it was well cooked, very tender!
