Nice to see a good coffee shop opening in what was a derelict building. Raises the tone of this part of Bethnal Green Road, and provides a real service for caffeine fiends. Friendly and intimate.
I`m a local who has seen how ghetto Bethnal Green became in a short few years. I am very happy to see gentrification.
Jonestown Coffee is a breath of fresh air: clean, bright, friendly and above all outstanding coffee and cakes.
Excellent single origen coffee. Not at all pricey considering it`s an organic, rare coffee (from Panua New Guinea, which accounts for only 1% of the world`s coffee production).
Vibe is good. Music is good. WI-FI is free and fast.

Good to see decent coffee shops opening up in Bethnal Green. Jonestown, being the brother/sister of Brick lane coffee is a welcome replacement to an otherwise empty Street corner. Good coffee but pricey. Staff not always friendly and decor needs some personalisation.

Love this themed coffee shop. Opted for a black Americano and it was decent. Can't wait to go back to try other drinks (esp the sh!toffee - which is a 4 shot coffee) and food.

The staff were very friendly and engaging - appropriately suited to the nature of the cafe. The quirky products available were also as tongue in cheek as the shop name.

Quirky little coffee shop and a more edgy alternative to the mundane morning coffee trip - as an Australian, it's great to see ANZAC biscuits on offer, free water on tap and unnecessary swear words.

Went here in August 2022. Was made to feel very welcome. Oh my gosh, I love this place! Such a good vibe. I have anxiety but I felt so relaxed here, can't describe it, felt like home. If you're in the area, just go, see for yourself. Highly recommend. I'll be back in May to soak up the atmosphere and get my card stamped some more.
I rather love this spot. I never caught the staffs name, but she was very sweet. Also, actually good coffee and a delightfully fluffy croissant.
