Impressive Takeaway. Ordered a takeout and we were all very impressed. No easy feat if you knew my mother-in-law!
Food delivered within an hour and piping hot. Tasted great. Couldn't ask for more.
Will definitely be ordering again.
Noiya and Gurkha’s Diner are currently our favourites for Indian/ Nepalese food deliveries and we alternate between the two. But as we were passing Noiya anyway at 9pm last night (a Saturday evening) we decided to pop in and order a take-away. Noiya – deserted on a Saturday evening There wasn’t a single diner in the restaurant but as the waiter explained, they’re mostly busy with deliveries. I do hope so as Noiya offers classy, contemporary Indian food that’s a little bit different and I’d hate to see them fail. After all, competition on Lavender Hill is fierce: there are many popular, established restaurants like Nancy Lam’s Enak Enak , Mien Tay , Donna Margherita , Ukai and Amazing Thai and all too many that open and then close within a couple of years (like Hell’s Pizza, Tokyo Jo and Miyaji
Great Food and Service! Recently bough a taste card and thought we would try out all our local restaurants with it. Noiya is hands down the best Indian in the area. The food was fantastic. We had several different dishes on the table and each was completely different you could tell each had been cook from scratch with all the meat full of flavor and perfectly cooked. Service was impeccable also with our server showing real passion for the food and the success of the restaurant. 100% would recommend my new regular eating spot.
The food was amazing! We got a great deal on open table that included the house wine. Damn good house wine. The Indian was more flavorful and complex than what we've had in the states. The chutney and bread at the beginning were awesome and the naan was hot and doughy in a wonderful way. There was an excellent house cocktail that was truly dangerously good. Highly recommended!
Excellent modern Indian food with some delicious, unusual chef's specials, and superior interpretations of the classics. I often go for the on-the-bone chicken which melts off, with a creamy but not overpowering sauce. Their dansak, another favourite, can be really hot, but they'll happily accommodate, and actually do change things rather than just saying they will! Cocktails are also a specialty, and often when eating in they'll treat you to one, especially if they're testing new recipes!
The Indra chicken was spectacular, but not for the faint-hearted! The team are polite and personable, offering top service. They have a really good deal of a starter and a main for £12, which you'd easily be paying double for in a hotel, but of lesser quality. I shall definitely be returning :)
Have ordered a few takeaways from here and after sampling other Indians this one ranks highly! Madras dishes are delicious, especially with their raisin pilau rice and deliveries are always prompt.
Great Indian restaurant. Very attentive and friendly staff. Delicious food, quick service and great value. Even got a complimentary drink at the end. We will definitely visit again.
Interesting, creative and pretty tasty dishes.
Great customer service as well. The manager knew his stuff and provided attentive, professional service.
Would recommend.
Consistently good food, all the classics put together with care & attention. Really delicious and unique signature dishes too.
