Usually go there during office lunch. I normally take the naked burrito with greens, coriander rice and grilled chicken. Has been a good experience each time.

Best place to go for a quick and tasty dinner on your way back home. It is usually crowded but worth the wait. The Chicken tortilla with avocado sauce is my favourite. They also give you extra tortilla chips.
The food is exceptionally good for the price and the quantity that they were. Except a 15 min wait time to order your food on a weekday lunch. Guacamole and chips was better than expected.
Overall, it was a good experience and would definitely recommend for a take away!
Simple, enjoyable and light on pocket

Tortilla is my first brush with supposedly original Mexican food. What has made me a repeat customer is the multitude of flavors in a very simple set of menu options. Probably another reason why I like it is the fact that a taco here is a tastier version of the Indian chapati.
Also, a typical meal is within 5-7 GBP and thus making it a default choice whenever I am in doubt about what to try.
With constant massive queues are lunch time, people no doubt think its worth the wait! The tortilla wraps are filled generously and nice and filling and the whole order process is managed with military precision. If you want a quick tasty, filling bite, look no further.
- One of the best tortillas i have had! Quick service and easy to pick up.
- Def. a place to drop by if you looking for spicy and authentic mexican tortillas.
- Afternoons involve a lot of waiting time as people are lined up to grab a tortilla
- Limited choices/items on the menu though!
- Not the best of the ambiences if you would like to sit there and spend some good time
(Note: My review might be biased as m a fan of spicy and tasty tortillas and i visit this place regularly!)
Shake the flavours. Yummy burritos
After some serious mixing and mashing, I hoped I made guacamole lovers proud or at least a little.
This was my first visit to this restaurant and I must say that I am impressed. The staff was very amicable and served us efficiently and quickly. They were also very attentive. The food itself was quite appetizing and delectable. The ambiance is very relaxing and perfect for a good meal. I definitely recommend this place to everyone.
This place has some really amazing food and the chef will make everything as you order. You van choose the ingredients that go into your food which is quite cool. The place has a nice relaxing feel, not the usual stiff sort of environment of a classic restaurant. A must visit.
I had the most amazing burritos, tacos along with salads here. It's a busy restaurant though, but, its serves you with the best of Mexican mixes considering it to be either meat or vegetarian. Adding a good beer or tortilla chips along with your main course, can do wonders to make a perfect meal.
I dine at this restaurant at least once a week. One of my favorites here id their tender pork with beans and rice. The choices of their chicken and steak as well is really good. If you want to opt for a light snack, go for their tortilla chips along with beer. Service is prompt and efficient!
An excellent lunch venue. the tortilla selection wrap is full and packed with flavor, you can also specify extra's of the selected ingredients.
Despite how much you order in the wrap, they will always manage to pack it well. Its clearly a popular venue at Canary Wharf in the lunch hours as there s a Que that forms past the entrance, however you will be waiting no more than 10 minutes before being served.
Seating is available with napkins and spicy sauce available to hand.
Good flavor
Good quantity
Good price
Would highly recommend.
This is a gem for Canary Wharf. The major problem is the size of the queue!!Visiting this place has turned out to be a regular Thursday lunch event now, with several other colleagues.Granted, I've only ever had the burrito, but why would I chose anything else, when they are so delicious. The chicken burrito (with extra chicken) is very filling and reasonably priced too.You can also pre-order on the internet, which a very convenient and efficient.
I visited this place while on my trip in London for a quick lunch. I was totally blown away by the taste of the grilled chicken burrito!!! The chicken was juicy and the burrito had all the right ingredients. Overall it was a very good place to eat.
Tortilla have simplified their menu, losing the fajita wrap and focusing on the burrito.
To be truthful I've never really understood the difference between the two, as I find Tortilla prepare their burritos in exactly the same way as they did their fajitas.
It's the difference between cous and cous it seems, to them.
It's my understanding that a burrito is meant to be baked, in which case Tortilla don't know what the hell a burrito is - funny as it's their main dish.
They've also raised their prices 5p to a rounded out £5 for a medium burrito and £6 for large. Depending on what time you place your order often dictates how large a burrito you will get. Go in the lunch rush and it's usually a carefully measured serving, go afterwards and they tend to pack it out a bit more.
Either way it's a fairly decent lunch that will fill you up, giving you a choice of steak, pulled pork or chicken.
You can also get a carb-free naked burrito with all the ingredients laid out in a bowl.
Tortilla do tacos too, but it is that burrito (that's really a fajita) that's their big seller - full of fresh salad, beans, rice, guacamole, chilli sauce and slow-cooked meat.
Tasty, good value but a little mixed up.
Am glad Zomato expanded and is expanding its coverage to other countries as well. That's why I have got a chance now to write a review for Tortillas, one of our most frequently visited and favorite joints while we were in London. Working in Canary Wharf, I have pretty much tried almost all quick-bite restaurants in and around Canary Wharf that provides lunch or dinner in 20 quid. Everytime I step out of DLR at Canary Wharf, the first thing mesmerizes me is the aroma from Tortillas. And we gave in first time for the aroma. My wife tried Vegetarian Burrito, and I tried chicken Burrito. And since then no turning back. I've tried all meat combos and products on the menu, with all combinations of Lentils or Rice or Tortillas they have on menu, and loved everything. For the price of 5-6GBP, the quantity, taste and service is all wonderful. And they have some good beers (less known Mexican to outside world) on the menu as well. Overall, a fun place to grab a quick bite any day, and have a wholesome Mexican meal.
Fast service, prompt cleaning of tables and plates, very reasonable price, good portion, great taste. Tried all veggie and non-veg options and loved everything. Me and my wife still talk about Tortillas occasionally, despite being more than a year since we moved back to India.
Definitely recommend anyone to give it a try once.
Reasonably priced for a quick bite.....it's a ideal place for a take away lunch. Also ideal for post drink quick meal...good portion size for the price
Naked burrito is one of the best burritos I have had in London ..... Long queues in canary wharf tortilla during 12 to 2 pm everyday but service is very quick.
I wish they had brown whole wheat healthy tortilla for health conscious people like myself...
Vegetarian option is also recommended
My vegetarian naked burrito was very tasty and filling. Service is efficient and the ambience is inviting. However their vegetarian option was limited at the time of order. The place could have been kept cleaner when it was not busy. Overall we had a nice time and I do recommend this Mexican food joint.
I always come here for my lunch and I have to say it’s one of the friendliest team of staff I have had the pleasure of being served by. They’re always chatty and they’re super fast. Even when there is a queue you won’t be waiting too long. The food is obviously great. The location is perfect. Right at the bottom of the DLR. Tanjila is one of the staff members who I see often as she’s always there when I go, and she makes the effort to come over and greet me even if not directly serving. If I could give more stars I would!
10/10 really liked the customer service, the staff was super friendly and welcoming. I was unsure what to order but they gave me some time to decide. Really nice will definitely be going again. Also the food is super yummy
My favourite Tortilla branch. I’m a very loyal Tortilla customer, especially to this branch. The service here is always very quick and the food always tastes great. I typically opt for the pork naked burrito with guacamole which is really good value for money.
Occasionally I have noticed that certain team members can be slightly stingy with the extra salad bits like the corn or guacamole, however generally it’s alright.
Would highly recommend for a filling and nutritious meal which is also fairly cheap.
My besties, they are super quick, easy and polite. The food slaps and I would highly recommend if you are in the area for work or just a day out. It’s a nice filling meal that just hits the spot everytime, will be going again soon no doubt about it.
The employees were so friendly and prepared my food super fast, highly recommend this place!! Foods also amazing.
very welcoming girls, they explained the menu in detail and helped me pick my choice Chey, tanj and shama
I had a really great experience at Tortilla in Canary Wharf. Gem delivered excellent customer service and informed me of a wide range of options. Raluca also served me very efficiently and fast, there's no wonder why this is my go to branch! Food was fresh and flavourful as always!
Came by the store earlier today and I could not have been more impressed with the service provided by Tanjila. She was so sweet, patient and helpful. Food was lovely; first time trying Tortilla and I will definitely be coming again. If not for the food then for Tanjila. A true credit to the company.
Quickly served but the burrito had hardly any filling, so didn’t feel like value for money.
Great experience with canary wharf service really loved and enjoyed the experience here, would always recommend this place. Mathias the manager is very helpful with service and hospitality, making sure every customers are treated with love.
Fast and delicious yet healthy food. Decent portion sizes. Could perhaps do with a sink though as it's easy to get sticky fingers after eating a burrito!
