Lovely private members club right on the Thames. Very relaxed atmosphere. Bar area very spacious. First class restaurant and bar meals available. Staff friendly and welcoming. Small number of Cabins for overnight stays. Highly recommended
A great private sailing club in the heart of the city of London.
Offers a great place to escape the city in the city.
With an amazing social sailing philosophy.
A wonderful club to join and share sailing adventures with.
Just an amazing beautiful club on the bank of River Thames right best door to Southwark Bridge. Fabulous ambience, comfortable seats in chesterfield type upholstery. The library had a terrific collection of books, something for everyone I believe.
The dining room especially in the evening serves tasty fresh cooked food in a very welcoming environment.
The views across the river are worth sitting down with a drink and watching all the different types of vessels passing by.
I was at one of their Tuesday evening new members and members. The menu was beef bourguignon with flavoured rice with a very delicious sauce, followed by an equally tasty freshly prepared custard and apply crumble, just like granny used to make. A great cross section of people that evening all with an interest in little ships.
I believe this Little Ships Club Is an almost hidden jewel with exceptional comfort. The appropriately named cabins instead of rooms each, with a porthole as once again befits a yacht club, with a cost to stay making it certainly more affordable than some of the local hotels and with charm.
Went back for my first lunch experience.
Just had lunch at the Little Ships Club.
The service was exquisite. The setting is really desirable. The tables are spaced out so that a business meeting is very comfortable. In fact there was a group for a corporate lunch and still we were able to enjoy the excellent food freshly prepared by the chef. I had a smoked duck with peach salad and the really tasty Fishcakes for my main course followed by an upside down peach cake with freshly made custard sauce. All in all a great setting to enjoy a lunch in a comfortable setting I'm the only yacht club within the city of London right next door to Southwark Bridge. Yes I would go back again

Lovely private members club right on the Thames. Very relaxed atmosphere.
Nice club, bar and great food. The location is right on river thames. Good for conference and meetings.
Corporate travel industry event by an association of tourism offices. Lovely private club atmosphere, set behind Cannon Street station, with rear terrace area overlooking Thames- with astonishing views across the river ( especially at night) with the Shard and Southwark bridge lit. Hospitality company were high quality, meal and wines most enjoyable. Comfortable seating and well spaced. Clean and modern toilet facilities. All helped make for an enjoyable educational evening.
The Little Ships Club is home to one of a kind sailing, social, & RYA training opportunities for sailors in the heart of central London. Located on the banks of the Thames River- it is a well suited space for meetings, lunches/dinners, private events, & social gatherings. As a member of the club, it provides a wealth of opportunities to engage in social sailing events of all kinds- both on and off the water. The club appeals to a wide range of sailors & is an excellent way to get involved in the sailing community.
Fantastic club in the heart of the city. Means I can fully immerse myself in sailing; on water, qualifications and socialising. Over the winter the fast cruise meant sailing every month. The qualifications are all RYA certified, with great instruction and location provided. The club offers great restaurant and bar facilities every-night, and a season of great talks on a range of topics, my favourite was on the weather ⛵️
The Little Ship Club is an incredible place in the heart of London bringing together people who love all things nautical. I have been a member for the past year and I have met some amazing friends that I’ve been able to share some great sailing memories. From the winter fast cruises to pints on the Thames, I’ve made so many wonderful memories with some inspiring, fun and kind humans. The RYA training courses that the club offers helped me dive into sailing after doing my Competent Crew Practical only 14 months ago. I just did the RYA First Aid course today which provided a great foundation in understanding how to deal with a variety of medical emergencies at sea. I have also signed up for the RYA Yacht Master Theory next month which I’m really excited about getting into following the club’s October Fest party. It is a great place to fit any of your needs whether that’s learning more through training courses or meeting new friends over drinks, laughs and interesting chats.
Tuesday club nights are the highlight of any week! Great guest speakers and a chance to have a drink and/or a meal with the sailing/boating friends you’ll make at The Little Ship Club.
Our son took us to the Little Ship Club. Great atmosphere and venue riverside on the Thames. Best coffee we’ve had in London.
This club is fantastic! Great community and people of all ages. Lots of opportunities to go sailing with new people. Wish I had found the club sooner.
Great rendezvous spot for the London maritime community.
Great social sailing club in the heart of the city. We did our RYA VHF course with their trainers. The RYA training was very well delivered, happy to recommend this clubs RYA training to anyone.
Over many years my clients and I have been enjoying the friendly service, stunning views of the Thames and the Chef’s a la carte creations. Just before the Lockdown I and the Commodore of another City Yacht Club were impressed by the value for money of the soup and main of the Club Menu, which varies according to the day of the week and the Eton Mess from the main menu.
Cannot wait to get back after the restrictions are lifted.
Lovely experience. We were made very welcome and invited to enjoy all the club's amenities. Very nice club supper (Tuesday) generous portions and very reasonably priced. Nice views of the river and rooms very reasonably priced too. Enjoy.
Lovely little place- tucked away location, but on the river.
Food could do with some improvement…
Beautiful views. Perfect for business lunch meetings with tables spread out and not too busy. Entrance is not great via the car park
