For a Catholic country like Mexico to produce such a sinful food as the burrito is simply beyond me – two deadly sins, lust and gluttony, combined in a wonderful wrap of joy and pleasure. Certainly enough, the attempt to recreate it at an industrial level has not helped the cause, but it’s still a great lunch option if you don’t fear flatulence (it’s the beans).
Chilangos is a mexican food chain of restaurants.The food they serve has that authentic mexican flavour,The salsa and guacamole with the filling(vegetarian or chicken) wrapped in tortillas tastes really good.I grab a veggie burrito with hot salsa quite often for friday lunches.
Great food and service...a must try place.
The Hotbox was very good, tasty and quality ingredients. Staff were very helpful with navigating the menu. A little on the pricey side, but it hits the spot. “Different from your average Mexican chain”
The food there is tasty and the portion sizes are good too, depending on what you buy (I usually order the hot box).
The staff are usually quite polite and upbeat too, even during the weekday lunch rush.
My criticisms for Chilango in general are: the £1.50 extra charge for a dollop of guacamole (which adds to an already pretty pricey meal) and the 'spicy' salsa verde not being very spicy.
Excellent juicy burrito. Lovely staff - I was offered a tester of the spicy sauce on a nacho. Sandra made the guacamole.
Mexican is not what I prefer always but I stopped at Chilango for a quick bite and I just fell in love with their spicy burrito. So juicy and soft it was and made to quality that too in quick service they were ready to hand me over. I almost forgot to look around while having it. Waiting to next time too. #vikrmn
Love Chilango Burritos. Almost like comfort food., if in doubt.. Just Chilango, Never disappoints. They have very good seating area downstairs.
Nice warps/ Tacos provided here . The beef steak one is really juicy.

Best burrito in the town! Fresh ingredients, really loved the Guacamole and chicken! The staff are very friendly and fast. Highly recommended if you would like to have a delicious Mexican taste at a good price. Definitely coming soon again. 🌮🌯
Amazing food! Great taste and no fuss
I liked this place, the burritos are really tasty. I've tried the chicken and the surf and turf one. Both were better than expected. The queues are long at lunch time, but damn the service works fast. Well done for that. My only gripe is that the prices are a little high. £7/8 for a normal sized burrito is a little steep and however much extra for guacamole is almost an insult! Otherwise a pretty decent place if your pocket can push that far.
I have been a customer at Chilangos for a while now. The food is great and the staff stand out as big reason to come back as a loyal customer. They are always very friendly and always have a smile on their face. I have had a great time interacting with Stefanie, Anna and Georgiana and look forward to getting my lunch each day. Big thanks me
We go here with colleagues for a treat after some very hectic mornings. Once a month as a treat is a great idea, not more. The calorie count in those things is through the roof. Burritos are enormous and delicious (pork or prawn are addictive). Service is quick and they always try to tweak their way of servicing, trying to make it quicker (not sure if it's necessary).
Very efficient service. I had a protein box, and they didn't go easy on the amount of chicken :) The food was tasty. There's also a quiet sit-down area downstairs, that I don't think many people know about.
Incredible service. They were short on steak when I arrived, but the employees were all very apologetic and gave my free lemonade and chips n' salsa while I waited. The crazy thing was I only waited 5 minutes for the steak to finish cooking. I ended up taking my lemonade and chips back with me to the office. Great job! Excellent customer service!! I will be back :)
