One of the best Korean food in town. The restaurant always busy so reservations needed. All food were very tasty and not too spicy. The staff were very nice and service mind. Fired chicken is the best. Highly recommended.
I went here with a friend for a casual dinner and was really excited as I love good Korean food. I spent 6 weeks in Korea just after uni and embraced ALL the food so it’s lovely finding food which reminds me of that time.
It has a cafe feel, with simple wooden tables and a menu written above the kitchen area. Service was prompt and professional. Definitely don’t be fooled by the menu outside on the window which we were eying up as we queued (it was a Friday night they weren’t taking any more reservations. We arrived just after 7pm and had a 20 min wait for a table) - the actual menu is pretty extensive and has all your Korean staples included KFC (Korean Fried Chicken, Joachaim, Bibimbap etc).
However I was a little disappointed with the food when it did arrive. I ordered the tofu and egg bibimbap. The tofu was really well done (crispy cubes, all chewy and squishy on the inside) but instead of what I was expecting - a freshly cracked egg which then went all gooey when it was stirred in - there was a fried egg instead. It was still good but it meant the dish felt more dry than I expected. It went went will the hot sauce which was on the table.
We also had the tasting starter - crispy seaweed, bean sprouts, green veg and kimchi which was good.
On a whim (and because I’m greedy), I ordered the prawn tempura. An absolute favourite. The tempura was heavier than I expected (maybe I’ve just been to places where they do it differently? 🤷🏻♀️) but as a result it felt a little more greasy than I liked.
Overall, the food is tasty and I’d love to go back to try the KFC and the Japchae as they looked really good.
I recently dined at this small restaurant, and my experience was fantastic! When I arrived, there was a line, but it moved surprisingly fast, and I had my table within minutes. The food was simply amazing, and the portions were huge - definitely great value for money. The service was also impressively quick. I would give this restaurant a solid 5 stars for the overall experience.
Loved this place. The food was BIG and delicious. Prices are actually pretty decent, we ordered loads of food and it was about £30 a head. The service was great, super friendly and fast. The seating is good. Everything is clean and tidy. Very unassuming place but can't recommend it highly enough.
Delicious Korean food!
It was my first time trying Korean food, I didn't expect much, but it was really tasty.
We got bibimbaps and a soup. I was eating bibimbap and it was really good, definitely recommend to try!
They also have a happy hours in the middle of the workdays (during the lunch time) where you can get a solid discount (don't remember the exact amount).
That's what we did:)
Delicious - 5 stars! 🌟
Been here 4-5 times now bring friends and family and every single time we have wonderful food which is very tasty, fresh and always filling🤗
Staff is friendly and always try to accommodate and look after it’s guests.
Thank you 👍🏼 👍🏼
I knew this place was certified because I have been passing it for years - it is always busy and it usually full of Korean people.
I was not disappointed.
My friend and I ordered the whole fried chicken (16 pcs), half Original Fried Chicken and half Nam Yeung (Korean-style sweet chilli.)
The chicken was cooked perfectly, moist & tender while still maintaining a light crisp batter, so it was not heavy and I could actually have eaten even more. The coleslaw was delicious too, super fresh with a little twist on the typical sauce.
The decor is simple, pleasant, unpretentious, just the way I like it. This is one of those places with a relaxed, friendly, casual vibe where the food is all the way on point.
I can feel myself starting to salivate as I'm writing this review!
Improvement: If this dish came with a neutral flavour to balance the rich flavour of the chicken (eg a small salad with lime dressing) it would be a 9/10.
I'll be back.

Food was excellent and did not take very long, service was good, and the restaurant itself was nice and cozy. The honey mustard fried chicken and the fried udon were 10/10. Keep in mind the portions were relatively big - I was very full by the end of the meal. Would love to come back and try more of the menu. Highly recommend this little gem!
Accommodating for walk-ins and friendly staff. Korean Fried Chicken was good - recommend the Yang Nyeum flavour. One thing to note is that rice is not included with some dishes Vs other restaurants. If you’re in town and fancy Korean this will fill a gap!
Stopped here for an impromptu meal with some friends over the bank holiday and was blown away by how fantastic this food was! We ordered (way) too much but everything I tried was delicious - and my friends loved their Korean Fried Chicken too. The udon noodles with veggies, kimchi pancakes, rice, cheesy chips, crispy seaweed and bean sprouts were all superb. Great beers. Friendly and VERY speedy service. Fantastic value for money, good music and a lovely atmosphere. A gem - wouldn’t hesitate to return!
Excellent meal and service.
Recommend to go here for people who are interested in different food experiences and diversity.
Do not recommend if your food taste is homogenous, your narrow minded, or you voted for brexit
Great staff so friendly! 😄 I’d recommend their kimchi pancake, Budae jjigae, Korean fried chicken (they are as good as the ones in Korea!)
We were visiting London and were walking around looking for a place to eat and found this little gem. I had Bibimbap Soy Chicken which came with a small bowl of misu and my wife had the Katus Curry with Rice Chicken. I also had a Kloud beer. We haven't had much Korean food in the past and are not sure what it was supposed to taste like, but it was delicious.
Food was good and staff was very co-operative, I was there to try Korean food for the first time they recommended me to try Bibimbap(was very hot but good) I would like noodles instead but overall is amazing
Absolutely delighted with my recent visit to Daedak in Vauxhall. Their fried chicken is a culinary delight, especially the Yang Nyeum flavour – it's truly something special. Also, the Honey Butter Powder chicken offers a unique taste sensation that anyone with a penchant for butter shouldn't miss. I've had my fair share of fried chicken around London, and Daedak easily ranks in my top five. Highly recommended!
- spicy pork bibimbap £9.50
- spicy chicken bibimbap £9.50
- spicy chicken bento £9.50
we came during lunch time, which offers less dishes than dinner but nonetheless there is still a good amount options to choose from and their lunch menu is actually cheaper (with mains from £9.50~) so already it's good value for money!
the service was very quick and efficient, as we received our food within 10 minutes of ordering and it all came piping hot so that's always a great sign, especially for the bibimbaps. the bibimbap came with a generous amount of rice, meat and mixed vegetables (courgette, carrot, beansprouts, radish, mushrooms and spinach) so i was very full by the end of it. the bento was also a generous portion and i was pleasantly surprised by how dumplings were homemade, as i was expecting frozen ones.
taste-wise, it was exactly what i expected so it didn't wow me but that isn't a bad thing at all! the chicken was tender and juicy and the spice was just right for me but they do also offer spicy bibimbap sauce on the table if your spice tolerance is high. overall, nothing to fault about this place and i would definitely return!
overall: their fried chicken is my new guilty pleasure. totally worth queuing for. tho not a place for catching up with friends as the food comes quick ( in order to have a high turnover of tables).
tip ❗️: prepare to queue, they don’t take reservations. we went on friday at 19:30 & queued for 30mins.
fried chicken 🍗: heavenly. juicy chicken thighs fried in light crispy batter that retains the crunch even with a layer of sauce. obsessed with the sweet cheese power flavour as it is rarely found on menus & is absolutely finger-licious.
cheese powder fries 🍟: every single fry is covered with cheese power, it has a slight sweet undertone which i love
kimchi jjigae 🍚: classic korean dish that’s simple & hearty. the flavours are authentic, with the blend of saltiness & sourness from kimchi.
jjajangmyeon 🍜: personally not a fan of texture of this type of egg noodles, it’s not chewy & rather more floury. the sauce has a weird sweet & savoury taste that’s not my cup of tea. (but my friends say that if you like this dish normally, this is above average)
Second visit - I had to remove one star as I did not think the KFC was as good as the first time and Jigae did feel a little watery. The food is still good though and reasonably priced.
First visit - Really airy and crispy Korean fried chicken, authentic dishes like japche, bulgogi, ramyen and more and definitely value for money and great service as well. Highly recommend!
The food was super tasty and filling. Especially the Korean fried chicken - I could eat it all the time!! The bibimbap was really nice
Great atmosphere but would suggest booking in advance to avoid disappointment
