Went for a late lunch and shisha this afternoon and absolutely loved it.
We had chicken tagine and couscous chicken - both beautifully cooked and well presented. I don't eat meat often and I was worried I wouldn't like it but I loved it. The service was spot on - felt well looked after and will be back soon!

We went for a late lunch yesterday and today, and it was delicious. Beautiful, great atmosphere, good music, great service. We at the chicken tangine, lamb tangine, and also had the swarma wrap with fries. The mayo sauce that comes with the fries was phenomenal. I had the maroc wings with fries and the mayo sauce that did not disappoint as well!
Great atmosphere, delicious food and excellent service .couldnt ask for more .definatly recommend it .

Was looking for a new hookah place and this is highly recommended in many articles. We had to wait 10 minutes on Friday night to get in. They had an outside garden which was covered from rain. A mix of hip hop and middle eastern music was playing. The space was quite packed, not as relaxed as I prefer shisha places to be. Food and shisha were okay. Shisha is cheap for central london.
This place has got good positive vibes , excellent cuisine, very welcoming place and lovely place to have hookah with your friends , definitely must visit!!!

It is a perfect package that includes everything from great food, to Shisha and drinks.
Consider yourself lucky if you plan to go there on a Friday or Saturday evening. From 9:00 - 9:30 they usually change the mood up of the lounge and there is Belly dancing.
If you and your mates are looking to have a great time then I'd definitely recommend Dar Marrakesh for the place to be.

Great evening spent there with friends. Good music and performance towards the end of evening. Top that with the magic tricks from the proprietor. Oh yeah, the food was awesome as well.
Amazing evening spent with friends. Watched the football here and enjoyed some really good Moroccan food. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Make sure you order a lamb tagine and their oreo milkshakes are amazing !

Writing a late review gives one a lot of time to ponder over what it should be.
Went here with some good buddies for Shisha. I must admit, the shisha and the food were both amazing. Typical Moroccon, if that's what you're for.
Place loses 2 point for the ambiance outdoors, which is not much of an ambiance I would say.
Gains another half star for the belly dancer performing when I went. Gave a real feel of turkish restaurant and that's exactly what I was looking for.
Chicken Shwarma is something you might wanna try.
4 stars for overpriced but not-so-good shisha. I tend to go for shisha quite often and can get much better quality and almost half cheaper in other places. Their ones cost £20 (reasonable in London I assume). Despite that, all the rest was ok. I've had calamari for my starter (as usual) - portion was huge! No main meal needed afterwards, so that's advantage. For my dessert I've had waffle with chocolate, strawberries and ice cream - loved it! In overall, Dar Marrakesh has a variety of choices for food and drinks - very cheap for the size provided. However, shisha could be improved.
Brought some friends here as was looking for somewhere with live music and authentic Moroccan cuisine and I was not dissapointed. Came here on a weekend and it was really busy . Loved the food and the entertainment was really good. Got up and danced with the belly dancer to my friends amusement lol. Only problem was the food was bait slow but understand as it was completely full, but one of the mangers made up for it by giving us a round of shots on the house. A definite must visit and beautiful decor !

Ever since my trip to Marrakech I have developed a new appreciation for a good tagine so having the chance to visit this newly refurbished restaurant/ shisha bar was great. I went there on Saturday afternoon for dinner.
We had the lamb and the kofta tagines, the kofta was amazing, the lamb was ok but felt a little bit under seasoned. As sides we got the dolma and the calamari. The dolmas melted in your mouth and were pretty good (served warm as they should be). The calamari was a bit harder to chew so as a Greek person I would rate it ok but nothing great. The side sauce the starters came with was great though.
After the food we decided to try the cocktails. I had the Guilty which tasted like alcoholic dessert, so right up my street, and I also tried the fireman, good for whiskey drinkers bit not really my cup of tea.
In terms of atmosphere I think the restaurant tries to be more posh than it is but the massive screens with the football on everywhere you look are incongruous with the atmosphere they are trying to create. There is also a semi- outside area for shisha which feels more Moroccan but it was full of football fans and smoke.
In general I think it's good enough but maybe not as authentic as it could have been and it could do with a few more authentic Moroccan dishes in the menu.
I visited this place with my best friend and I had the time of my life. I am going to remember this outing definitely. the food is delicious and is just appropriately flavoured. The atmosphere is warm and the peppy music just adds to the experience here. You can try different flavours of sheesha and share it amongst yourselves. You are sure to have a great time. The best part is that it is friendly on the pocket too.
This was my second visit to this restaurant and I decided to go there with some of my colleagues from work. The first time I was here, the food was amazing, the atmosphere was outstanding and the overall experience was exceptionally good.
But unfortunately, the second time we were here, the place was super crowded and we had to wait 20 minutes before finally getting a table. Though the service was a little slow this time, there was no difference in the quality of their products. I would love to visit this place again.
I visited this place with a friend and we were in the mood to try out some fine drinks. A lot of people seemed to be celebrating birthdays. The atmosphere was peppy and the ambience was amazing. The soft lights added some romance in the set up. I enjoyed my visit with my husband and would recommend you to visit.
Really inclined towards sheesha, i cannot stop raving about the most perfectly made sheesha we have had by far.The staff is welcoming, attentive and amicable. Atmosphere is enticing and the music in the background is suitable with the surroundings. Surely revisiting and trying some food this time! A really cool place!
I recommend this place to anyone who wants to smoke sheesha and have a good time with friends. the ambiance is fun, lively and buzzing. The food is decent, nothing amazing or to be commented about. The drinks are better though. The service is satisfactory. The prices are also reasonable.
If you happen to be a person who loves Tunisian or Moroccan dishes then this place is definitely worth giving a shot. The food is incredibly amazing and the staff and their services are very efficient and well coordinated too. Located in a pretty small radius by Stratford, this place is very convenient and easy to reach. The portions served are amazing and the food is brilliant value for money. Thoroughly recommended.
This was the first time we visited here and glad it did not disappoint. Visiting here for a friend's birthday, we had a wonderful time. The atmosphere is enticing and lovely. Coming to food, the place has extensive and appealing sheesh selections. The place has become a regular spot ! Definitely recommending!
I had a wonderful experience at this place. The food was great was quite delicious. The wine that I ordered was also good and was served in a big glass. The shisha was also delightful. We sat in the open terrace and the place had a great vibe. The music was also good. I would definitely visit this restaurant again.
I love Dar Marrakesh bar-it is quite a place to be on Friday night.
Ambience: It is quite authentic with a bar and tables inside, and a great Moroccan style open garden with spaces for sitting and shisha. We usually go to the garden and especially during the winter because there is heating and you can stay outside.
Food: The mixture of Moroccan and Mediterranean cuisines is incredible. We always share a plate of three starters at the price of £10-falafel, hallumi grilled cheese, humus and pitta bread. Of course there are other combinations you may choose from. We usually drink Moroccan tea which is one of the best in town.
Service: It is at a great level as all the staff are quite helpful and caring.
No hesitation it is worth trying!
This a great place to go for a night out! They have excellent service and good food.
They have a large space so they cater for big groups of people which helps, and they offer shisha if you wish to smoke. Moreover they also have nice food, I ordered the baby chicken, with chips and salad which very nice. On the other hand, I found the chicken fairly dry.
On the whole it has great atmosphere with great Middle Eastern music playing in the background.
Moroccan is pretty popular in London, we were in the area and decided to pop in. We nibbled on some humous and pita along with fatoush salad while we deliberated on the mains. Ordered the signature Lamb Tagine with hard boiled eggs, figs and chopped almonds. It was delicious! I ordered a Moroccan fish curry, slow cooked in an earthen pot with tomatoes, carrots and herbs - the spices were delicate and the fish fresh. The place has this rustic north African feel to it and yet fits in London beautifully. Will want to go back for the shisha in the lovely outdoor space.
Refurbished & revamped since i last came here. Great atmosphere and incredible service from Walid. Shisha is really good & smokes well. Desserts were a good portion. Heaters all over which is always a plus in UK weather! Clean and looks good. Definitely coming back here

It was a bit slow at the start, no one gave us any menus. I think we waited about 15minutes till someone handed out the menus. Once we ordered our food and drinks only 2 drinks came and we had to wait another 5-10mins before all our other drinks and food came together.
However the food was amazing! I was scared the meat was going to be chewy but it was not at all & had lots of flavour. The gave me chilli sauce which was medium hot - it allowed me to have spicy food while tasting all the other flavours. The rice perfect with the meat and on its own. Loved every bite.
Now the curly fries were toooo good. Even my friends loved it we bought more.
I wanted a nice sweet drink, the Magic Amazon was perfect. It was very sweet with apple & lime taste - loved it.
We shared 3 shishas between 6 people. We all had our favourites. I personally liked the skittle & blue mist. The Irn Bru was too minty for me. Only downside was it was very cramped up we all we’re squished together at the shisha garden which is separate to the restaurant section. •Rate:

Nice ambience, live belly dancer, shisha lounge in garden area, nice flavoursome food. Busy in weekends, service can be slow due to this otherwise great friendly staff.
Very good birrio taco and very good, unique take on ramen (birrio flavour). Only down sides were a bit too pricey.
Nice place for food and shisha. Friendly helpful staff. Didn't have to wait too long for the food and shisha was also quite warm inside. Great place to go to 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾 (loved the milkshake 😋)

Been here a few times and have always had a great time. The staff are all lovely and the service is great. They are very polite and give off good vibes which creates a nice atmosphere for customers. There is always someone passing to check if we want to order anything which makes the service quick and efficient. Food and drink is delicious and the prices are good. There was belly dancing on when we went which was great entertainment which good music. I don't live near to this place but I am happy to travel just a bit more to go here rather than other places nearer to me. Will definitely be back again, this is mine and my colleagues favourite place to go on a Friday after a long hard week at work!
Great ambience, awesome Moroccan food. The chicken tagine was finger licking. And the Moroccan tea after food was soothing.
I had the birria tacos here, I don't think they were very authentic but they were very nice, and the customer service is great!
