Quality little bar. Chilled in the days for a nice pint or GnT, but on the friday nights.... It metamorphosizes into a mad club!

Thank you so much for a wonderful night last night for mine and Faye's birthday- Katie, we really appreciated everything that you did to help us organise it! The free venue hire and minimum spend really did make a huge difference to our budget and meant we could have a great birthday! Cannot thank you enough!

Shhhhh… let’s keep this our little secret??? Tucked away from the chaos of the Strand, this is a gem. Great staff, perfect size and welcoming authentic vibe. Please, don’t tell anyone.

We stumbled upon this place about 12pm on a Friday and thought we'd pop in for a drink. It is a really fantastic, 'pretty' little pub with a good beer selection. We were the only 2 in there for a while (some more people did come in a bit later on) and it was a real shame to hear that it doesn't tend to get that busy at all. Well worth heading slightly off the beaten track for, you won't regret it.

A nice small pub that has a slightly upscale feel to it. Bartender was friendly. There's a decent selection of draft beer and spirits. There is not much seating available.

Just off the high street where the obvious pubs were rammed. Quick service, seat, job done. Fantastic find thanks to Google maps.

Visiting this pub tucked away down a steep side street mid-afternoon on a weekday, I found this pleasant pub with its original features very quiet with plenty of seating. Good range of beers & snacks too.

I had walked past this pub, in a side street down from the Strand, a number of times and this was my first visit. I'd like to return to stay a bit longer. The bitter was good, as was my friend's Guinness. There is another bar upstairs, but it was closed for a function on my visit. The Gents toilets are up the stairs and on the right. The WC is tiny! There's a Ladies upstairs in the other bar.

Such a lovely pub. A great, bustling atmosphere and friendly staff, lovely drinks and just a nice time to be had, always. Will definitely be returning.

A pleasant little pub just off the Strand, this was my first visit and I was impressed. Staff were prompt in serving us even though it was fairly busy. They were friendly and showed enthusiasm in their work which is quite rare these days. A good selection of favs on tap as well as a few newer beers/IPAs. Will return.
