I met a friend for a walk at the QEII park with her toddler and we stopped there for a coffee. We had a coffee and hot tuna mt panini. Food and drinks were great, service was good and staff friendly. We had a good time and it was not so busy at the time we were there. I would recommend a visit. They have a bar for anyo e who wish to gave a"happy hour" with friends.
We’ve stopped here a few times after a walk to the Olympic Park. This cafe is very nice and clean and has some plush and comfortable seating, including sofa’s. Perfect to recuperate after a walk, conquering the slide or shopping nearby! On our recent trip we had lemon drizzle cake slices x 3 (Don’t judge us we had walked loads lol) and two hot drinks, cost was just under £14. So if you have a family of 4 it might be a little pricey! For us two friends hanging out the cost was ok. Rated 4 star due to the location, polite and friendly staff and my peppermint tea and cake was very nice too!
Quality food & drinks - definitely good. Cash machine outside which is useful for cash related park fun. Roof area for outside coffee with a view. A stones throw from the Orbit, Aquatics Centre and Stadium and has great family friendly vibes
Went for a bite after ABBA show. Cheeseburger & hot chocolate. We watched the tennis while there would recommend the place.
It's a peaceful place since it's never too busy. Good space and fairly good service. The greatest issue is the inconsistency of the quality of coffees. One is a coffee making God. The rest... Are not. We pay a lot of money for coffee and so they should always: be filled to the rim... Be of a hot temperature... The correct amount of froth.
Please bear this in mind. No one wants to do Pret and the other commercial places but consistency is key. I don't want to travel in the hope of getting a good coffee. I always want the same great standard. Therefore standardisation training is needed.
That aside this is my fave spot in Stratford.
Great place to hang out, but the coffee doesn't taste that good recently. Not sure what changed.... :(
Good place to have a snack during a visit to the Olympic park. Great views of the orbit.
Pretty good place for a pre-match pint as it's lively with music and good atmosphere. If you want to go inside you will have to be a member to the "West Ham Supporters Club" but the outside area behind the building is open to the public which serves reasonable priced beer and food. It's a lot cheaper then the London Stadium anyway which is the point and is obviously done on purpose!!
Due to the location I thought it would be ridiculously expensive but it was priced OK. The staff were friendly and the tables were cleared promptly but you were not rushed to leave once you had finished. The lavatory was cleaned while we were there and opened to the public. It has a lovely relaxed family feeling, that is worth a pop in for a cup of coffee, hot chocolate and cake. Or if you are like my husband, a beer.
Loved this restaurant, bare tables simply as they are plastic and white but nice and warm inside though, fair do's.
Great cup of tea, all I had so can't comment on the rest yet. They normally do pots of tea but now do cupful only during covid for now they tell me.
Chox cake slices looked to die for though, real nice. Didn't have time for one though.
Great views to the outside and you can see all the roof kit suspended from the ceiling as the suspended internal ceiling has been either removed or was never fitted.
Pleasant staff. Leave you alone to read your book or whatever too. Lovely. Peaceful.
I visited in the time of vivid so could only sit outside, and you ordered food and drink via a QR code on your phone. This process was much easier than expected and orders were delivered to you. I hope a lot of businesses adopt this as much better than having to queue.
Lovely cafe, lovely food, lovely coffee but bloody slow...
There were 4 staff behind the main counter but only 1 member of staff making coffee.
It's a cafe, 9 out of 10 people want coffee.
Just a thought... how about training all staff to use the machine then you wouldn't have a constant queue practically out of the door!
If it wasn't for the queue I would have given it 5*!!!
Large windows to see the Autumn colours in the park. Quick friendly service. Yummy toasted ciabata and pizza. Spacious and not crowded on our visit.
