Love the place! Very friendly stuff!! The best pizza I have eaten, and l have been eaten a lot off pizzas. Definitely worth waiting for! We ate there six times in nine days. And off course had some beers. An atmosphere that suits me and my sons, not a fancy place. It felt like home. Next time we visit London we will come back. Hopefully next summer, live in Sweden....

What a fabulous venue!! I held a book launch here for 120 people on a Thursday night and it was THE NUTS. The staff were super friendly, the vibe was cool and the whole night was just ace. Great beer and pizza too, I'll be back!

Love the mug wall and atmosphere ! You can tell we're just facing Camberwell London School of Arts. Great choice of fine teas and nice fresh food.

Was a lovely stroll down from our hotel. After a 34 hour flight we just wanted a good meal, and the Peckham pelican provided us with that. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly! Really enjoyed it :)

Cute little bar. Unfortunately when I visited they didn't have the gluten free beer (stock issues) but usually they would have daura damm. The prices are reasonable, the seating areas are comfortable and they allow dogs. I've heard they also do great live events. The pizza also looked delicious! Also there are gender neutral bathrooms.

A lovely venue, great quirky coffee and bagel shop. Friendly staff and tasty ingredients. They also help out with the charity "South London Cares", that's how I found out about them. Definitely support them. The bagels are always freshly prepared and very tasty, and although I've never had a cake from there, the people I'm with have, and have only good things to say about them. Disappointed the eggs are gone though :P

Decent spot for a pint, the IPA was top shelf and reasonably priced. Just wished they stayed open later than they do.

Favourite spot in Peckham! You can come here to have a coffee, a bite, a drink; to eat, study, work, socialise, attend an event since the organise lots of nice things. It’s cool and has its own aesthetics. Definitely a nice place to go anytime during the day or the week! There’s a small outside sitting area too, which is nice, especially if you smoke. Quite cheap in my opinion and as far as it concerns the menu, there are lots of vegetarian/vegan option with Sunday’s brunch to be strictly only vegan! Check out their happy hour deals too!

We were here for a Civil Partnership celebration, and it was a lovely occasion with great company. The Pelican hosted it admirably. Good gin, good beer (although not much choice), good prices in Happy Hour. Agreeable staff. No annoying loud music. Good basic pizzas.

I like this place, it's atmosphere and the food and drink. So I'm giving it a 4. But it's always filthy. It takes less then a minutes to collect used cans from tables and sweep the doorway - it can only be put down to the completely disengaged staff (which its becoming famous for). For the love of repeat customers, please clean up.

This place has a great atmosphere. I really like the music they play, the drinks are cheap and the food is pretty good. It's often quite quiet too which I prefer. They have loads of board games and stuff which is cool. I wouldn't recommend the a cafetier (?) Coffee though, I think they use the same pots for mint tea and you can taste it in the coffee, even after I asked for a new one which was freshly washed, it still tasted of mint. The staff were very polite about it however

We stumbled upon this place because we literally were staying in an apartment a few minutes walk away and on our arrival we wanted to go for a drink, but were too tired to actually go anywhere, so this looked like our best option. This turned out to be a good match for us, plus the prices were reasonable (for London) and the pizza was unexpectedly delicious (initially we went for just 1 for the 2 of us, but later had to order a second one, because we couldn't resist). The atmosphere is extremely relaxed, but the food came pretty quickly, so it wasn't a bother for us. The interior is also partly a gallery, so it does have art vibes throughout and is quite reminiscent of Parisian bars, plus the building the bar is in, - is a beautiful 1920s example, but if you're looking for a Costa type of place - then it's unlikely you'll like it. We visited the bar every day while we were in the area and were sad to find that it was closed (due to Monday being a short day) on our last evening. Oh well, until next time!

Its one of the best local bar that we go to on the weekly basis. Its very chilled and casual place. People are nice and friendly. Drinks are cheap and decent. Although I haven't tried their food yet but they also do the bagel from brick lane. Great value for happy hours too.

Perfect place to have a coffee (or a can of lager) and write or have a relaxing chat with friends. Great atmosphere, whether empty or full, shabby charm, fits in well with the scruffy Peckham ethos. Enjoy the literary events they have there, also. Good pizza, too, I think, though it's been at least a year since I ordered any food.

I've only been once on a sunday afternoon but I will definitely go again as the staff are friendly, the decor and art of the venue is intriguing and I loved their selection of bagel fillings. The toilet facilities could do with being a bit more user friendly as the sink is a couple of metres away from one of the two toilets but on the bright side the location of the sink made washing post bagel hands quick and easy.
