Tasty Thai food with reasonable price!
Food – Find this place better suitable for foodies who want to taste most nearly authentic Thai / for Southeast Asian it is quite a good restaurant.
Service & atmosphere – Friendly staffs, no need to wait long for food, no-frills décor but clean
. I have also tried their lunch express menu for a few times and I enjoyed it.
Recommendation – starter crab ja (crab cake) or vegetable tempura, main – my fav dishes are Steamed Seabass with fresh chili, fried Seabass with mango salad (chef special), roasted duck with chineseleaf or tamarind, raw papaya salad. Dessert – fried icecream
Why not try one dish to another on your second visit.

The best Thai food I ever had in London. Altough the decoration doesn't look great the dishes are amazing. I've never tried anything I didn't like and when I try anything new I love it. Service is polite and excellent. Actually I got addicted to it and I go there almost every week!
Great thai, veggie friendly. The deep fried squid is the best in london i think, its fresh tasting not rubbery at all. a light batter toasted garlic and chillies..man this is good.
Lamb massaman, me and the missus argue over who will order it, as we dont like ordering the same thing
Great place, friendly staff, cheap prrices and the lunch specials are a bargain.
i like the photos of thailand around takes me back to travelling there
Having eaten at the Silom on countless occassions with friends and familiy, I have only good things to say about it. In fact I struggle to undestand anyone NOT having a great time there. Above all else, the food is exceptional and good value. So of my friends have lived and worked in Thailand and all have said that the Silom is as good as anything they have ever tasted. You can say much more than that. My only warning would be that when the menu says something is hot and spicy, it means it!!
I love this place! My hobby and I eat there every Sat and we have never been disappointed. Excellent value for money, authentic Thai food, very nice waiters. U go there once, u will want to come back for more
Reliable, affordable and friendly, this is a real local treat. The best express lunch for miles. Faultless, unpretentious, authentic and consistent. Come and try it, again and again!
Loved it. Went there for a leaving party. Had the squid to start with and then the pad Thai, both delicious. The service was good too. Highly recommend it!
Affordable and delicious. Seafood prik pao is lovely, and the calamari/squid iss best i ever had. My only complaint is the slightly cramped seating.
Superb Thai food, great staff and very reasonable prices. One of my all time favourite places for a casual, quick dinner.
Well well , I love this place and my fav dish is Singapore Laksa( bit chilli) but I really love the flavour. It hits the spot with nice chilled beer. Price is economical as the quantity is appropriate.
I must admit that I'm perplexed by the less-than-excellent views 'The Silom'. I know that what people want/expect varies, but I have been visiting the Silom Village for... oh I suppose about 12-15 years, after friends that lived in Ealing recommended it. In all that time I have never had a meal I didn't enjoy, or service that I ever thought was anything less than perfectly acceptable. The food and restaurant do not attempt to be 'showy' (no carved veg decorations on the plate or gilded elephants to be seen), but the food is the best, most 'authentic' that I have eaten in the UK. There are other, significantly more expensive Thai restaurants in Ealing which look smarter but disappoint with the food. I defy anyone to have either of the two soup starters, or the melt-in-the-mouth, slow cooked lamb massaman and not be impressed. The later in particular, is often poorly done, cooked in a hurry and chewy - never at the Silom. The ONLY thing which has changed (for the worse in my opinion) in the decade+ I have been a customer, was the decision to go from big, chunky communal wooden tables and benches, to smaller, individual tables and chairs. I understand the decision from sake of flexibility, but I think the atmosphere lost something as a result. Other than than, I would not eat Thai anywhere else if I had the preference, and even now, we will drive 27 miles from Hertfordshire for no other reason than the food. In fact, having written this, I think a visit is overdue.
Had dinner at Saneh Thai last week. We ordered two starters and two main courses. Fried chickens were juicy. The spicy pork fried rice was delicious and authentic. Thai milk tea was very tasty and recommend if you want to try some sweet drinks. Service was very good throughout. Quite but easy to find. Just to add that it usually closes after lunch before dinner (not sure the specific time). So don’t miss out if you want to try some authentic Thai food.
I love Thai food and I have been Thailand over 20 times. I tried to find similar atmosphere like Thai and I found this restaurant 15 years ago.
I and my family regularly visit this restaurant.
Sometimes service is slow and food taste is not always same but you complain about food taste when you visit your family home.
I think this restaurant is one of the cheapest Thai restaurants in London.
Excellent fried rice and Pad Thai. We also enjoyed their coconut milk soup with noodle. We recommend.
Thai curry place with average ambience
This place seems very ordinary in ambience and decor but has a good taste. Service is fast. Prices are less than average. Don't fancy a fine dine here. It's a quick Thai lunch small size restaurant so keep the expectations low and you will be happy with it.
Authentic Thai food. All fresh, tasty and the recipe is as in Thailand. Should be more crowded for the quality and price of choices
Well presented, tasty and authentic Thai food. Great service.
The name has changed, the food was surprisingly good but they probably need more servers.
Nice portion good value & taste good. I love the chicken satay
