I had a great lunch there with two friends last Monday. I’ve been a pie & mash kid all my life. The food is terrific, (and very good value), the ambience is great and the service is magnificent. The lady serving us was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Traditional English grub, very atmospheric and low priced! Really nice to find an old school place like this in London, that hasn't changed much. I'm not too big on Pie and Mash myself, but had one of the best ones here! Try the chilli vinegar as an accompaniment.

Decent pie and somewhat friendly staff. I had the small pie and mash. It was plenty big for me. You can tell it's been around a while. The staff knew many customers by name.

I've not been here for 30 years, returned today to find it just as good as I remembered. Best pie and mash in London and a big helping of nostalgia, even the tiles are the same!

Proper east London food. Eat there before it gets replaced by another bland fast food takeaway. They sell jellied eels too!! Lovely tiling. So old school.

Decent pie and mash- service can be particularly miserable even for a pie and mash shop... sometimes it's like you're taking food from her kids the way you get treated when you order a bit of dinner 🤣
