Wow I was blown away by the food I ate today at the Greenwich Yoga and vegan festival. Was so tasty with lots of flavour tasted like authentic Caribbean cuisine
Just had the raja wrap in Portobello Green Market. Such an amazing array of flavours - you can tell a lot of love has gone into this food. Tasty and energising!
Best vegan food and drink around! Rainbow salad and beetroot Dhal is lifeeeeeeee! Lots of variation and lots of good ingredients
In a world full of processed crap, En Root is a life saver (literally)
Refreshing to have food that's both healthy and friggin delicious too.
What a great little gem this is, a straight forward five-minute walk from Clapham North tube station.
The modestly sized cafe evokes bohemian vibes, fusing India and Jamaica, as instrumental jazz provides an audible backdrop to the dining experience. We encountered the owner who additionally played chef and waiter when we visited on a weekday for lunch - very friendly and keen to impress.
The dishes ordered arrived in good time and met the standard for good café food of a unique indo-carribbean variety. Every dish seems to be unique and hit the spot in filling a hungry belly.
I'll be coming back to taste the para-tacos. This place is absolutely worth a try, especially considering the very few entirely-vegan places that exist south of the river.
Came here as had a vegan visitor in town. Interesting menu, lots of variety. Good portion sizes. Enjoyed the Tandoori Wings, my meat eating partner said they tasted like meat. Very good service. Nice ambiance for a small restaurant.
Absolutely tiny but couldn’t fault the vibes!
We managed to walk-in, despite it being a small place, and the staff were super accommodating and friendly.
I’d definitely recommend getting the sharing platter, it’s delicious and you get free refills. It’s BYOB but they have some great soft drink alternatives, we also bought some famous raja bonnet sauce.
Delicious and nutritious plant-based vegan food served with great, friendly service. The restaurant is small and cozy with good vibes all around. I would definitely recommend it to anyone thinking of trying En Root!
P.S their plantain is banging.
Food is really tasty, good portions and cheap too! Highly recommend. I first has En Root at their van at a festival and it was even better in person
Amazing place, Amazing food.. fresh and tasty at a great price. If you like vegan food then this is the place to go. Highly recommend. Great lunch time offer I had today and must try the coconut water if your there
Incredible Vegan oasis with absolutely delicious authentic plant based Indian cuisine, I’m confused as to why people have said the portions are small as I have always found them to be really large and I always leave super satisfied
The service is wonderfully friendly and the owners and staff always take time to explain the menu and make recommendations every time I visit
En Root is my absolute favourite Vegan restaurant in London 🌱
Authentic and delicious food combined with relaxing atmosphere and great customer service. I was very excited to try EnRoot in Peckham and left very satisfied.
Amazing fresh food, generous portions.
Owner and staff are very welcoming and friendly.
We came all the way from west London, definitely worth the visit 🙏🏻
This place was great! Absolutely fantastic value for money and the food was delicious. The staff were helpful and friendly, and it was great to see healthy food and herbal cosmetics and supplements available as well.
Would definitely recommend the Naanza, which is a naan with roasted/fried veggies and roots. Absolutely delicious and its great to know that everything there is healthy and vegan.
Having come from Plymouth, it's great to find some good vegan carribean food and at such an amazing price. I wish every city had one! 😁 Will definitely keep EN ROOT in mind for our next visit ♥ 🙏
The best mangolassi on earth. Delicious food. Friendly staff. The guy is cute also.
Unbelievable home made Indian and fusion food. Don dada was one of the best Thali’s I’ve ever had, the hot sauce is banging (8% scotch bonnet is perfect for a table sauce) and the pani puri were a revelation and a true joy. The curries were fresh and each one had a unique flavour profile. This place is a real gem, if you’re like me and sick of identikit ‘indian’ restaurants churning out vats of different proteins in beige sauces - COME HERE!
Owner is bless, it was my first time but I’ll definitely be coming here more often. Tunes were good too, everything’s on point. What more do you want?
Really good. The £5 lunch deal is great value, portion was big (actually a bit too big for me but I ate it all anyway because it was so tasty). If, like me, you've been walking past thinking you'd like to try this place, just do it.
One of the best meals I have had in SO long!! The service was incredible, the staff were so knowledgeable and friendly and the food was so value for money! This is the share platter which is £12.50 per head and bottomless! Will be back soon
Amazing place, been a few times now and can't express how much I love the food / vibes / people. Sit in if you can, the guys cooking up a storm out back and those serving are lovely, try a scotch bonnet if you dare...the chai certainly isn't to miss either!
Delicious healthy vegan food with a difference. A crazy fusion of flavours... I will definitely be back! The mango lasso is like nothing else I've tried before...and that chilli sauce with the scotch bonnet and kesar mango!! Everyone I know is addicted to the flavour!!!
Had the most delicious meal here recently. They make the best mango lassi I’ve ever had in my life (with a twist)! Everything tasted amazing & authentic you can tell it was made with good energy. Everyone working was so friendly , happy , good vibes. Decor is soo cute and homely , we loved everything. Definitely going back & trying their other restaurant soon
