I booked a Christmas meal for three of us, and it was very nice. It came up nice and hot was edible and asked for extra gravy, no problem. I've been coming to this pub for almost 30 years and although menu has changed a lot over the years. I will still come again. The first time I came I brought my mum and aunt and the chef cooked on the premises then and it was lovely home cooked food and Marianne who still works there was very friendly and obliging to us all so we came back weekly. However, I have always found the staff friendly and helpful.
Called in for sunday lunch, food was great and staff was very friendly . The pub was very roomy and so we found out its just got a new landlady who we got on with very well . Thoroughly recommend and we will be back.
Fantastic family friendly pub. Great food and lovely staff. Can’t do enough for you. Dog friendly and brilliant bands. Just had a full English and it was spot on.
We held our Dad's Funeral reception here on Tuesday 7th February. The buffet was really nice and plentiful. Everyone commented that it was a nice place and the food etc was good. dad would have loved his final party. Thank you to all the staff who coped well with such a lot of people.

Great pub . Even have live music . I saw the all beats there . They were fantastic . Highly recommend .

We had a big family Sunday lunch at the Queen Elizabeth and there were 14 of us. The food was excellent and plentiful and the staff were extremely helpful, friendly and efficient. We all had a wonderful time and will definitely come back. Excellent value too. Thank you!
Really friendly and welcoming staff and nice, laid back atmosphere. Only 10min walk from us so the perfect local!

I went in the Queen Elizabeth pub in Chingford a couple of weeks ago.
We received a nice warm welcome
And the food we ordered was delicious.
The service at the bar was excellent, we would definately go back there again

Super dog friendly pub with great affordable food. Never disappointed with an Ember inn, food is very much like Green King with affordable options and large portions. The Sunday roast was questionable, looked quite dry and lacking veg, however the burgers are great, juicy and large portion. Loads of pints on offer such as Camden Hells and Pale ales. Dogs are very welcome with treats and water provided at no cost. Free parking, would definitely return and sets a high standard for the Ember inn brand.
We enjoyed the food and drink, including introducing English beer to our Czech guest. We appreciated the Free House and especially the availability of Adnams Ghost Ship which we love. The cooking was excellent and the portions were generous (these things don't always go together!). Altogether a pleasant experience and we expect to come again.
Lucy and her team have been excellent in helping me arrange my husband's funeral reception. It made a very difficult day that much easier. The food and service was perfect. I cannot thank you enough you deserve these stars *****
Good people work there. You can tell this by the service they give. Every manager from Bertie to Milan will do their best to help you if you have a problem.
The staff are always friendly Magda and Marcy are always ready to serve you your dinner or a nice cocktail. They make you feel at home when you walk in as well everyone does.
Even the chefs make you feel relaxed. When they come out the kitchen to say hello or grab a tea/coffee.
Now the food is good and the price is ok. Its what you would expect from a pub good hearty food nice drink and a warm atmosphere.
Ive left a five star review of my local pub, but if i had the opportunity id give better as those who work in the catering and hospitality industry definitely deserve it.

Great prices and deals for drinks and food. Close to Epping forest and the station. We were served very quickly. I recommend staying for the quiz :)
Lovely local pub with good food and welcome atmosphere. Just what you want from a local. Lucy, Roberta and Magda are excellent hosts, always willing to accommodate your wishes and Paul the chef makes a great Sunday roast. Oh, and good value too! I’ll be back!
Some good ale served with a smile. Liked the £1 off a pint deal (Monday+ Thursday?). Good pub grub too. Staff were excellent.

I haven't been to this Pub before but I know an absolute beauty of a bartender who works there. The Pub looks great from the pictures but let me tell you, the atmosphere you're gonna feel when you walk in and see this Gorgeous, funny, all encompassing Polish girl will make you wanna drop everything you have in your life and relocate as close to this Pub as possible just for the chance of seeing her more often.
She's the sort of girl I'd start a drinking problem for, a girl that could easily convince me that prenuptial agreement is a bad idea, and a girl that I couldn't be mad at If she took my home and kids after being married for 18 months.

Staff are lovely and friendly and the food and drink is great value for money. Love coming here for brunch, the eggs are always perfect.
I love coming the Lizzie, the staff are always happy and friendly, food is yummy, and the beer’s not bad either. No complaints here. Bertie is a spectatular host great banter
