The most amazing Indian food I have tasted in London. So much flavour. No deep fat frying. A lot of herbs and the quality of the ingredients shone through the plates like light beams. The food had warmth not heat, just like the staff. I'll definitely be returning

Absolutely stunning food....fresh, flavoursome and beautifully presented! Such a wonderful evening, the staff couldn't have been more helpful especially with our 10 month old son. A real gem...definitely worth a visit!!

Great new concept. The space is the Crisis charity cafe during the day, and taken over by Kheera Kitchen by night. I believe they are currently a 'pop up' but I hope they will become permanent. The food is spiced, but not hot. Great flavours, great freshness and good portion sizes. The quality (especially for the price) can't be faulted. The service was friendly and comfortable. I simply HAVE to recommend the slow-cooked lamb - melt-in-your-mouth soft and full of lamby flavour. The spicy greens again, weren't hot but complimented the lamb and bread perfectly. I will be coming again to try the rest of the menu. Very soon!

Innovative Indian flavours with personality - not your typical "Brindian". The mackerel starter is a standout dish; every subtle seasoning & spice is perfectly balanced. Also worth a mention is the dhal, definitely a bit different from your local takeaway, with great texture and warmth. Try it with the chickpea pancake (yum). Left with happy tummy & no heavy feeling after. I'll be back.

Went along around 6.15pm on a Thursday and it was relatively quiet but by the time we left, around 8pm, it was buzzing along nicely. Things you may want to know, there is no heat to the dishes, they are flavoursome but if you're looking for an intense chilli burn, this is not for you. That said, there are mini-milk bottles of chilli oil on each table, the chef's mother's recipe we were told. I didn't find it very hot and asked if it might be possible to get something hotter. A few minutes later our bubbly server returned with a small dish of a lime pickle that the chef was developing. Again, it wasn't 'hot' hot but packed with flavour and I'd definitely recommend it when it appears. The menu is a bit varied with some dishes being much better value than others eg. the coconut eggs is actually one egg cut in two which, in my mind, is not worth a fiver but certainly qualifies it as a 'small' plate. It seems silly to opt for the black dal as a side when you can get the main sized portion for only £1 more, and who can't eat dal? It was delicious. Friend and I shared the aromatic lamb, although it was a tough call as the pork bowl looked interesting, as did the fish, but lamb it was and it was fantastic, so soft it almost melted and the marinade was flavoursome. The bread board is great for sharing and offers variety and the spicy greens could be served up easily as a main dish, they were so tasty. For dessert I opted for the cardamom bananas, i joking asked if it was one banana split in two but no, 2 whole bananas covered in a lovely warm caramel sauce. I had both a martini and mojito. Both were delicious, I felt the martini had perhaps spent too long with the ice. The mojito was refreshing. Other than the expensive egg the only things I'd say that were less than great was the speed with which dishes cooled down, they didn't come 'red hot' but quickly went cold. We were told there was no plate warmer and it's something they are looking to address. The other, for me, was the caramel sauce on the bananas, it also tasted a little burnt but not in an overpowering way. I suspect that accounted for the lack of cardamon.
