A loverly pub. I went on a Tuesday and it was a place where you can go and relax. They were very accommodating when I went recently with a few friends. Food and drinks were good and reasonable. Sadly, i was too full for pudding, but next time. Staff have been really helpful and friendly.
Good roast and desert. We were a table of 14 and all the food came out together. Very friendly staff, manager got us a big table out the back in a room on our own. Would definitely go again.
Came here on a Friday afternoon to play pool and eat cheesecake. The person behind the bar was really nice and helpful and the music was spot on - 90s classics from my teenage years. So many bops. The cheesecake was nice yeah but I'm lactose intolerant so that was probably the worst decision I made
We liked the pub, the owner Gary and the barmaid Lisa both very friendly. It is comfortable inside and the football screen nice and big!
Quick bar service, bar staff are lovely, food on a Sunday is fresh and nice, would recommend !!!
I had a great experience in the Golden Lion on my Sunday afternoon visit. Staff were very attentive and polite. The decor inside was very nice and not forgetting the food. Very tasty! I will definitely be visiting again.

Had a tasty family lunch here today. Freshly cooked. Nice recent refurbishment. Beautiful gardens and ample parking. Friendly, efficient service. Recommended.

I didn't go in but it's a Wether spoon pub. Good menu, cheap beer and in the beautiful Dickensian section of Rochester
The food here is delicious and outstanding value. Warm welcome received and drinks good value 👌 definitely one that I will visit again and parking added bonus
One of the best pub gardens in Sydenham - enclosed, quiet and pretty. Pub itself is laid back, friendly, and with a lovely local vibe. Excellent food. Highly recommended.
