Food: This type of restaurant is like your Japanese version of tapas where you share little dishes. Great quality tasting dishes and variety to choose from. Service: The Chinese lady with glasses was friendly and provided excellent customer service. Atmosphere: Nice little restaurant with only limited to seating, so make sure to book a table to avoid disappointment.

The best new restaurant I've been to in a few months, and I'll definitely be back. Amazing sashimi - the tuna was possibly the best ever tried - at a reasonable price, and generally a great, satisfying, home-style cuisine (try the omelette!). Very friendly service, free tea and cozy atmosphere. Brilliant place, well done!

Authentic Japanese food can be found here as a hidden gem in Canary Wharf! It was served very quick!

Lovely, quite small and intimate izakaya style dining experience. Food was good, sashimi was of high quality and freshness (compared to many other places in London!). Will surely come back - karaage and grilled dishes were good as well.

Found an amazing little hidden gem near our place! It’s a lovely atomsphere authentic Izakaya (居酒屋) run by a friendly Japanese chef Taro and his wife Eliza offering a true Japanese experience. The quality and freshness of fish was really awesome. We ordered few dishes, Fried Oysters and Chicken Karagee are especially delicious and authentic. Really hard to find a good Japanese restaurant in London, glad we found this place. 美味しい 😋😋😋 May 27, 2021 We were here last week and revisited yesterday with my children for an afternoon lunch. We ordered Chirashi Don set and Curry Chicken Karaage set, both are very good. Very happy to find this tiny jewel, will continue to visit to explore more dishes 😋 June 4, 2021

Really enjoyable lunch with my friend there. Staff is friendly. Make sure to call and make a booking before you go as it can get very busy during lunch hours. I’d recommend fried chicken lunch set!

Food is lovely here and we had a great dinner. The only comment we have is for one of the waitresses. I'm not sure if she's the manager or owner, but definitely seemed like someone who was in charge. We felt she was giving the staff quite a lot of pressure, I didn't feel there was a need for it, clientele was super chilled and I'm sure we'd all rather the staff be treated well and with respect.

There aren't many tables, so do book ahead if you can. Beautiful izakaya dishes to share. Would recommend the tofu, and sashimi.

Went in for the first time for dinner and was served right away with refillable decaffeinated hot tea. The owner was really nice and explained us the menu in details. The food was good quality and tasty. My favourite was the salmon sashimi and green tea ice cream! Really recommend this place and I will definitely come back again when I am back in the area.

Amazing little cosy izakaya (Japanese bar) in the Docklands area run by a very friendly husband and wife team. We have been a few times for dinner - and have tried (almost) all the small dishes they have on their menu. All very good and authentic - reminds me of the izakayas in Japan! They also have seasonal specials on the board. My favourites are the fried oysters and monkfish liver. It is quite hidden away but definitely worth a visit if you are ever in the area (though at the moment, it's best to call to make a reservation).

Price Lunch: £11 and up Dinner: Min £30/ppl Popularity: Reservation advised to avoid frustration. Very authentic. You can extrapolate their efforts to resemble the Japanese cuisines simply from their wasabi pick. It’s almost like the real one! (P.S. Wasabi root mash can be as expensive as your sashimi!) Tuna & Toro Definition of Umami. Toro was more to the lean side. Tuna said to be from bluefin tuna. Assorted Mini Don A bit of everything! Make sure you also add their homemade shoyu. Deep Fried Oysters Nicely done! Well coated and oysters within are still fresh and mildly sweet.

My favorite Japanese restaurant in London. The chicken karaage and assorted sashimi are especially outstanding. Can’t wait to revisit after lockdown. Very hospitable owners Elisa and Taro 👍🏻

A very authentic Japanese restaurant! The food is prepared by a Japanese chef and it is amazing and very delicious! The best Japanese restaurant in London so far. We had ordered the marinated squid which we couldn't find the same anywhere else in town. Ichiban!
