Finally made it to Murger Han yesterday - this place has been on my list for ages. Having been introduced to Xian food in New York (love Xian famous foods!!), the murgers here at Murger Han were decent - preferred the cumin beef to pork but the standouts are the noodles! We tried the spicy ox tripe noodles - never been a fan of tripe before but this was amazing, the beef noodles were decent but the absolutely standout was the 3 in 1 noodles with lamb - that tomato egg sauce is so complex and flavourful, simply amazing! Highly recommend that dish!

My second time here, I love this restaurant. The staff were really friendly and attentive. We had pork murgers to start with which were succulent and flavourful. Absolutely delicious. Then for mains we had the big bowl of biang biang noodles and these were packed with so much flavour! It was quite a sizeable portion but we ate it all, really delicious. It’s quite a small restaurant so booking is definitely recommended as it gets busy quickly. Would definitely go back.

Visited this place craving for scrumptious Asian food roaming in the streets of Mayfair! To begin with, the ambience of the place is quite cute and cozy. The staff was very attentive too with the order plus in explaining us the dishes and suggesting us with what to go for. Personally, my experience here was quite different from other places as the food here looks like specially crafted food. From the appetisers to the main course, they had a unique way of making it and presenting it. And we loved everything!!! Things we ordered! Sex on the beach cocktail was refreshing. The alcohol content was spot on and paired well with the exciting dishes we ate here: 1. Tofu Skewers- this is nothing like the everyday skewers we have seen or heard of, these are sheets made out of Tofu and stuck on a stick with the gravy part being medium spicy and has a good aroma of garlic. Trust me, you will love this. 2. Grilled Veg Gyoza- stuffed with vegetables and served with sauce, it was very flavourful. 3. Rice glass noodles mixed vegetables in broth - this comes in a huge bowl with a good quantity of rice glass noodles and vegetables. The sauce is so tasty that it completely adds flavour to the whole dish. This is a must try! 4. Biang Biang noodles- lucky we got to try their limited edition Pride Biang Biang noodles. Now again, these noodles were hand crafted with the pride colours. It looked very colourful and tasted out of the world. The chili oil made it perfectly spicy and the aroma of the sauce was yumm. This is my personal favourite from the menu and you would not want to miss it for the world! 5. Icecream- last but not the least, the strawberry ice cream. It’s a cute soldier like standing figure in strawberry flavour. This too is a must try. Haven’t seen anything like this. Check out the photo for this one.

A hidden gem of North Eastern Chinese cuisine tucked away in a quiet corner behind a bustly Piccadilly… I’ve visited here on several occasions and it hasn’t disappointed, and with the plethora of choices for Far Eastern cuisine in the area, it is remarkable that Muger Han keeps the missus and I coming back! The food, style and flavours are authentically and well executed, and I’d dare say they do it better than places I’ve been to in Xi’an, China! It’s essentially N/E Chinese street food, so whilst you shouldn’t expect a fine dining experience you do get the creature comforts of a Mayfair based restaurant. It’s not a large space and It does get a little cramped when it’s very busy and the service can also be a little curt at times, but don’t let that distract you from the fabulous food! The signature Biang noodles served in a satisfyingly large bowl is a must try, along with the traditional mugers of course. My only gripe would be the flatbread in soup “Pao Mo” seems to have disappeared off the menu. I hope to see that reinstated for the winter months!

The bowl is so huge😂 tasted nice. Recommend the noodle in a little spicy, tasted better. The merger (Not sure how it is called), the meat is very juice.

Yummy food, the tomato sauce was so flavorful and the noodles portions were actually not too much despite the size of the bowl! Also not crazy oily, which I appreciate. Would love to try out their other stuff another time, but the biang biang noodles are great!

The service was amazing, the manager was very quick on her feet when other waiters and waitresses were busy serving food and taking customers orders, the food she suggested was terrific !!! Highly recommend and will come back again!

So happy that we tried this place. The hand pullled noodles with the spicy pork was great. Fat pillowy noodles swamped in a sauce that was full of flavour. The spices tasted freshly ground and feels like the Middle East touching Asia. Cumin is not a flavour you would associate with Southern Chinese food, but apparently in the North it is common, particularly with lamb. The Chinese burger is a good offering. All in all it feels like some corporate money is behind this chain, but I’m glad it is as I will definitely be revisiting. The service and the price is fair and the food delicious. I would suggest giving this place a try. I’ll be looking for other Xian restaurants on my travels.

I was dying to try this place for some time having only ordered it as takeaway once and loved it. WE stumbled across it looking for somewhere relaxed and quiet for a Friday night dinner. It didn't disappoint. The biangbiang noodles are the star of the show but you can't go wrong here really, everything tastes incredible. The murghers aren't my favourite but they do have great flavours. The cold noodles and biang biang noodles are my favourites here, any one is good. We tried the dry beef biang biang noodles and chilli cold noodles. I'll definitely come back to try some of the other dishes.

Ordered the biang biang noodles with spicy pork and lamb. Spicy pork was a comically small portion. Lamb was dry but very flavorful. Also ordered the bowl extra spicy and didn't taste it. Noodles were the best part, as they were chewy and fresh. Would visit again. Not necessarily the best value per pound.

Best Chinese restaurant I've ever eaten at outside if China!!! Im so bored of the British style Chinese restaurants you see around. Murger Han's food is so delicious and a single bite took my back to my time in Xi'an at university. The staff were fantastic and food was perfect. There is a lovely Nigerian guy who works here and was very friendly and made the meal extra special. All in all a perfect evening that I would recommend to everyone.
