Great Ecuadorian food experience. Buzzy busy family atmosphere and generous hearty food at a good price. I came here for my birthday and had a very good experience. Would recommend booking in advance, especially on weekends which are extra busy as they serve special dishes.

Got the Ranchero for £13 in total. Decent sized portions and good flavour. Rice is well cooked and flavoured. Salad tastes fresh. Lots of meat. Lots of Latinos inside the venue. Slightly cheaper price than Nandos but you get a significantly larger portion size, hence 5 stars.

A lovely little place tucked under one of the arches. Lots of customers inside speaking Spanish so that was a good sign already. The food was SO GOOD and generous sized portions, and the decor and music added a great vibe.

Hidden away under a railway arch in Elephant and Castle you will find a little bit of Ecuador in the shape of Costa Azul. This cafe/bistro serves typical Ecuadorian food such as cerviche, churasco platters and loads of fresh seafood dishes. I plumbed for the chicaron de calamar to start which was fresh and tasty. For my main I had the parihuela soup which is stuffed full of fresh prawns, squid, mussels and cassava in a spicy fish broth.Never tried Ecuadorian food before but would definitely come back to try more. Generous portions, reasonable prices and a lovely South American vibe.

Super tasty, not expensive and good experience overall! Karaoke night was a bit intense in terms of sound volume but great ambiance!

Tasty Ecuadorian food! We had 'bandera', 'ceviche' and 'encebollado'. The last one was incredibly good! Portions are good for the price given. Unfortunately service is not the best, there is lots of room to improve in that area as we were not shown a decent customer service. The good news for them is that food was so good that I'd be happy to come back. Last but not least, music was so loud that we had to be almost shouting to hear each other. I must say that it good Friday 10pm and I guess that everyone was in a party mood but us two. Anyway, whoever has been making encebollado and ceviche should be congratulated. Good work on those two!

This place is delicious. The seafood and meat platters are great and so tasty. Highly recommend the prawns dish too. The flavours are so rich, and great value for money because the servings are generous and the ambience is great and homely. Definitely make a reservation, especially on Saturdays, and make sure you go early (5pm) as the Ceviche dishes sell out early.

Absolutely amazing experience, the food was incredible, the portions were jaw dropping, the staff were extremely friendly and I almost fell in love with the flavours and tastes of the dishes. Everything was throughly cooked and presented at a flawless level. I would without a doubt recommend anyone to visit and try out this superb cuisine, especially if you are interested in exploring Ecuadorian food.

Great flavourful food in generous portions. They don't get shy and put a lot of seafood on your plate. If you are really hungry - the place is perfect for you.

Don’t let the lack of decoration or the layout of the place doubt about the food served in this place, if what you are looking for is a good size plate full with nice and tasty ecuatorian food, this is the place!

We found this place by accident. The location is a bit hidden, but it was super busy in the weekend. We went on Friday, it wasn't very busy so we can get a table easily. We were a group of 4, all of us ordered the seafood with rice dish that apparently all came in a very big portion! 😂 No complaints at all as the prices were quite expensive, but after seeing how generous the portions were, then it's ok price for lots of seafood! Everything was cooked so perfectly and super delicious! Definitely will come back trying the other food. Very recommended!

The food served here are delicious and quite affordable, especially if you're sharing! 😍🍛 It is usually busy here but the service is rather good. At least they have air conditioning on hot days! ☉😥🌬 I would definitely return with more friends/family to share and try various dishes! Kinda disappointed that i got king prawns substituted for tiger prawns...

What a nice place ! Ecuadorian food to its best. Big dishes, at reasonable price. Costumer service is also good and they try to accommodate you always but if you are coming on a weekend it is essential to book in advence as it can get very busy and people tend to queue outside to get in. Menus ate in both English and Spanish ! Enjoy !

First time having Ecuadorean food! Huge portions for a hungry person, the baked plantain and cheese starter was great and the fish soup was a favourite from the mains, had great flavour.
