Our favourite....specially when we're feeling like fish, Both food & Service never disappoints@ the Marble Arch branch....highly recommended!
I had friends visiting from Israel for business and one of our friends said that this was the best Iraqi restaurant in London so thought we must go in try it all together. I was not disappointed The food was delicious the service was good and very reasonable we ate like kings all four of us starters main and deserts with some traditional tea to follow cooked up on a charcoal stove all for under £100 I highly recommend visiting here.
I happened to visit this place with a friend a couple of weeks ago after shopping in the neighborhood. The place was quite busy because we went during the rush hour and had to wait for a while before getting a table. The service was prompt and all the dishes we ordered were great. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone if you're in the neighborhood.
The lamb shoulder I had at this place is perhaps the most delicious one I have laid my hands on. The quzi was very appetizing as well but the starters did not live up to the expectations. The service here was quick and efficient and the ambiance quite relaxed. I would love to go here again and try more of their dishes.
This Iraqi restaurant is a hidden gem in the heart of London. The restaurant is invariably crowded with hungry enthusiastic people. The food is sumptuous. The portion sizes are more than generous and at such cheap prices, the meal is a steal. The atmosphere oozes of strong aromatic flavors and is a delight.
I decided to go to this place while visiting a nearby area. I was greeted very warmly by an amicable staff who knew their work well. They were efficient and quick. The food was very delicious and worth the money. The restaurant is usually very busy but we were lucky enough to get a good seat. I will definitely be going back here again.
An excellent Arabic restaurant in the neighborhood. the menu is extensive with loads to choose from. Among the many dishes I have tried, The fish was the best. the service is spot on. The ambiance is appealing. The location of the restaurant is prime and hence the place is easy to find.
This place has to be one of my favorite and most frequented in the whole city. I frequent this place more than any other .And the reason for this is the really good service. The staff is very hospitable and cordial. Another reason is the delicious home cooked style food they serve.I highly recommend trying the okra stew!
I had lunch here on a weekend. The food was very good to taste and different in it's own way also. The place was quite empty even though it was a Sunday. Also, the service wasn't up to the mark as I expected it to be. The staff was inefficient. But, I would definitely like to return to have the good food.
I visited this place with my partner a couple of weeks ago, because they state that they serve halal meat and its ratings weren't that bad either. The staff was quite welcoming and quickly got us a table. We ordered a Chicken soup with mushrooms, which tasted delicious and a plate of mixed grill, which was deliciously prepared as well.
The only negative point about this restaurant was that it charged us way too much, for just 2 dishes and a couple of coolers.
The staff offers complimentary salad at the beginning of the meal. The salad is delectable and savory. The food tastes great. I had had dinner here twice and have been consistently impressed on both occasions. We were also given a complimentary dessert that was mouth watering and amazing. The service is spot on.
This Indian restaurant offers good food in gigantic portions and at very cheap prices. The meal is a great deal for money. The place is usually crowded and the staff does not falter. The service is prompt and the staff is friendly and courteous. The ambiance is cool, relaxed and comfortable.
This place is known for serving one of the best Persian food here. Do not be fooled by the rather dingy look of this place as the food here is just delightful. The portions are humongous and very well priced for the quality they provide. They also have an authentic naan oven preparing some of the freshest bread i ever tasted. The dishes here are mainly variations of fish or meat skewered with rice. The flavours and aroma of the food that comes on your table is to die for! You will see a lot of Persian and Middle-Eastern people dining here which demonstrates the authenticity of this place.
If you happen to be a person who loves to try the chef's special for the day then this place is definitely worth giving a shot. It serves the best Sea Bass ever and happens to surprise me with the authenticity in the taste. Amazing value for money. Definitely happens to be a killer getaway place.
This is an Iraqi restaurant which will provide you with some authentic Iraqi dishes and it is worth a try sometimes.
The ambience was okay , you have a little feel of what Iraq is like , staff was good and attentive.
My food was also good and it was my first time so I got to know about the Iraqi taste.
If you go in there , you must ask for their specialty and you won't be disappointed.
I came to this restaurant for a friend's birthday party last weekend and had a great time with friends. We started by ordering a mix of hot and cold meze and moved on to order the sampling platter, which gets you a bit of everything.
The mains included the Kouzi and Grilled sea bass, both of which tasted exquisite.
The place is slightly on the high end as far as prices of a Middle Eastern restaurants usually have! The place being away from he otherwise busy and fussy street did it for me to begin with!
Coming to the order, we asked for a Masque fish Arugula salad.
Dish of the day was , which is Maqlooba , a rice dish with egg plants and lamb meat with neutral and equitable spices in terms of heat. The dish was tasty nice presentation would rate it 3.6/5. Also ordered was Fish was amazing chat grilled sea bass, 4/5 star!
Worth a visit!
The place is an authentic middle eastern treat. The food is delicious and portions are generous. Coming to our orders, we had a meze selection, The warm bread with most mouthwatering dips were the highlight of the starters for us!In the main course, we had Iraqi kouzi with saffron rice topped with nuts , Barbecued sea bass and chicken biryani! You OUGHT to try this place! Highly Recommended!
Masgouf is one of the better known arabic restaurants in London; serving up the full range of classic arab dishes you would expect to find on Edgware Road - in Knightsbridge!
Now, the food is definitely good, but if i'm honest it probably isn't any better than a number of similar restaurants in London. Also, we went during Eid and the entire feel was cramped and rushed. Given that it is quite expensive as well, I was a little disappointed.
However, if you are looking for arabic food in this area it certainly won't disappoint on the culinary front.
Quzi: 9/10
Fish: 7/10
Service: 10/10
The place is generally small and you need a reservation if you wish to eat at evening time.
The food quantity was good and enough.
The price is considered normal in London.
Great Iraqi food also try their desserts. Baklava and tea hits the spot after a delicious lamb chops dish.
The staff are warm and atmosphere is clean and quiet.
The starter salads and Iraqi bread is wonderful served, Dolma and lamb biryani was so tasty and also the prawn biryani is tasty , love their food .
The customer service Is top class , 5 star service.
One of the best Arabian restaurants in London. Their Masqouf fish and stew potato are must try. Everything is delicious, the stuff are welcoming, the smell of the place is nice. They give us sweet as a treat.
Very good restaurant
Definitely deserves your time & money

Nice people
Very nice food... Good service...will come again with my friends....🙂
i really enjoyed the cockroach soup, absolutely stunning roach flavour running through the hearty, warming dish. Even the waiter who served me was dressed as a roach for haloween, 10/10 will be going back every single day as i cannot resist the incredible delicacies they serve here!
Lovely restaurant in our local village. The service is impeccable and the host really goes out of his way to help.
The meal was amazing, the meat grilled to perfection, the salads and rice fresh and delicious.
The host gave us desserts on the house which were to die for. Highly recommended!
Great Iraqi food. Service is not the best and you feel like you are judged as a guest the moment you step in and you're not Khaliji- it's like you committed a crime that you entered the restaurant.... But still the food is great.
Today was the first time we came here. My wife and son ate the lamb kebab, and they both loved it. My wife said it was the best mince lamb on a skewer she has ever eaten. And she has eaten at many places. My 3 year old son ate twice as much as he normally would, which is his way of saying he liked it. My wife said the meat was full of flavour and tender. I ate rice top with piped and cooked pomegranate along with an aubergine stew. It was very nice with a good balance of spices. With fresh aubergine and a deep red curry sauce. I would prefer it to be more spicy, and the chilli sauce provided was OK. Next time I'll ask for some chillies. We also had a variety of baklava for dessert and a complimentary rice pudding for my son. The Iraqi tea at the end helped wash it down. I almost forgot. At the start they give a huge bowl of olives, pickled veg and salad veg to munch on. A great healthy start to the meal. Great service and will definitely be recommending the place to others.
