their pizza - it's a delightful experience. They serve up fantastic traditional pizza that's not only delicious but also incredibly fast. Even during busy times when the restaurant is full, you can expect your pizza to be ready in about 8 minutes.

I had been keen to give this place a go for a while, so I finally decided to book a table for one Saturday evening.
I would recommend booking if you're gonna go over the weekend as it gets quite busy.
My reason for wanting to eat here was to try the wood fired oven pizza, so I went for the gorgonzola and salsiccia one (£12.00).
The pizza was a good size and had a decent amount of toppings.
The dough was light and crispy in the middle, but I found it to be a bit chewy around the edges, and finally there wasn't enough gorgonzola for me...you could taste it but just more as a background flavour...there needed to be more on that pizza!
The sausage was fine, and the onion added good flavour, too.
Anyway, I was feeling greedy, so I decided to have a Banoffee Sunday (£7.50), which was very good!
The ice cream was creamy and gooey, and both flavours were nice, and there was loads of whipped cream, pieces of banana, and toffee sauce! Yummy!
I'd definitely recommend one of these if you have room!

If the pizza had just been a bit better, I'd of given the place more than 4 stars, but I would still definitely go there again as I did enjoy my food and evening there. :)
A simplistic and rustic Italian restaurant, cooked perfectly the dish was light and playful. Want a wow dish but also a dish cooked well and what you expect for a decent Italian restaurant and dish.

I’ve been a big fan of Stroud Green’s Pappagone for many years and last week went for the first time to the Elephant and Castle restaurant. I’d say the food is pretty similar, definitely the pizza dough tasted the same, although my calzone was very flat, not puffed up as in my past experiences at the North London original restaurant.
The thing that is obviously lacking is atmosphere. It’s a modern, well finished interior, but in my view it lacks character, it could be any other type of restaurant. It would be nice if they were to add more Italian personality to the place.

Excellent Pizza Pasta restaurant in Elephant and castle. I chose chicken in a mushroom sauce with potatoes and 2 veg. Service is great and staff very friendly. Good choices from the dessert menu with around 15 different flavours of gelato. Expect to pay around £15-£20 for the meal with a drink.
Best Italian by miles.
The pasta is to die for as well as everything else on the menu. Above all the service and staff are just so accommodating and friendly.
We have found our heavenly local thank you guys.

Food is good -- for those who enjoy Italian, it's big portions of simple, decent and honest food, pasta or pizza. Flavours are on the conservative side, or inimaginative. Starters were especially fine.
Lively cantina atmosphere. Quick and friendly service, but also a little pressed when it's full.
Thing is -- and it's a London thing -- since the kitchen is open onto the salon, you leave with clothes and hair smelling to cooking.
This restaurant is a guarantee! Excellent pasta, pizza, and appetizers. The meat is delicious, I recommend the Fiorentina! The staff is friendly and qualified! Highly recommended! Love it!!
Easy to say a very good Restaurant, but you could taste the quality of the ingredients on the pizza, from the sauce, to the toppings. Well flavoured and well spiced pepperoni. The Italian sausage particularly nice.
The Tiramisu was spot on, good balance of mascarpone and sponge which was sodden with good quality coffee.

This is our fourth time to this wonderful restaurant as a family . We all have very different tastes in our foods, but this restaurant has such a good menu choice of foods that it suits all of us .
Food is exceptional, as is the service, and we all like the atmosphere . One visit to the restaurant on a sunny day meant we could sit outside , they have a spacious outside space .

Highly recommended! Place is clean and tidy with a nice vibe. Staff is patient, kind and attentive. Food is tasty and delicious. We had Gnocchi al cartoccio and Linguine ai frutti di mare. The wait was a bit long.
Bear in mind that 10% is added on top of the prices displayed on the menu as service charge.
It's the best Italian restaurant I have tried. Really fresh food and very generous portions, as per Italian tradition of course!
