Went for a team dinner. Service was excellent. Food tasted amazing!!!
We had the complementary bread and salad. Tasted great. Then went on to mixed starters that were ordered by the group.
I tried the falafel, the squid rings and the tomato and cheese. The squid rings were my favorite.
For the main I shared a mixed grill with 4 colleagues. Plenty of meat if you are a meat lover. Served with various rice.
The vegetarians in our party had vegetarian moussaka and pasta. All of them seemed very pleased with their dishes.
The entire group was complementary of the venue choice and the food.
I didn't pick up the tab so I can't comment too much on value for money, but would I be happy to pay for the food and go again? Yes, yes, I would. Definitely recommend? Yes, yes.
Me and my two friend had dinner here on Friday. We ordered 3 dishes, shish kebab, chicken wings and I forgot the name of the third one. The quantity of this third dish was very good but for the other dishes the quantity is okish.
We sat on the first floor, they were seating everyone there. There was no one sitting in the ground floor and the tables on the first floor were too close to each other. It was a nice restaurant and the environment was good but for such a nice and expensive restaurant I didn’t expect to find these kinda cheap quality tables. The tables felt dirty and of cheap quality.
We ordered mocktails which were all very good and the good was also good.
Overall it was a good experience and the taste was very nice. However they should change the tables and consider putting lesser number of tables there.
Food is really delicious! Moussaka, Adana wrap, Salad, Lentil, wings, everything we've tried were very tasty. Good coffee as well. Its expensive and 10% service charge as well. But service is super.
My first restaurant in Canary Wharf. We went for team dinner.
Brilliant starters. We ordered the platter. Falafel, haloumi, bread with dips are worth trying. I ordered the chicken shish with rice for mains and the chicken was a bit dry but the marinade tasted good and the rice tasted great. Deserts I went for chocolate fudge cake and it was average. Would love some more sauce in it and maybe some more cream to lighten it. Vines are good.
Overall good vibes, friendly staff and not too pricey.
Excellent meal at Moira and we left very stuffed. The 6 of us shared the two hot & cold meze platters for starters which were excellent, followed by the ocean platter for 2 and the mixed grill platter for 4. There was so much food!
Favourites included the Hellim (halloumi), feta Borek, stuffed vine leaves, and the lamb chops, plus all the delicious flatbreads, salads and dips that came with it all.
The staff were very accommodating and friendly, and were able to cater to my friend with an egg and nut allergy.
Very good kebab! We had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant during our stay in London and everyone in our group was extremely satisfied. One aspect that truly stood out was the exceptional service we received; the staff was friendly, attentive, and made our experience even more enjoyable
The food is amazing. Meze (Turkish tapas or small starters) are fresh, mains are tender and full of flavour! Lovely relaxed style, clean and fresh. Service is friendly and professional.
We'll be back!
Found this place through Google Maps while in Canary Wharf and kept going back for the incredible food and the amazing people. Everything has been amazingly delicious. Hard to go eat anywhere else.
Cosy restaurant with great service and friendly staff. We had lamb ribs and chicken wings and both were absolutely delicious. They were well seasoned, very juicy, and cooked just right, so the outside was a little bit crispy - just like a perfect BBQ. Portion sizes were good and we enjoyed our food. Will definitely be coming back for more. I think I have found another favourite restaurant 😋.
I did not want to go to this restaurant , but a neighborhood friend recommended this restaurant . I must say that everything was excellent, really good. Super friendly staff, everything clean and welcoming. One thing I didn't like very much, the music lol
We are regular customer at Moira, no matter take out or dine in, it is always been a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing house wines, food and service. The mix grill is the food we always came back and order the same thing over and over again because it is too good! Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. Thank you for the great hospitality!
The food is always good as well as customer service. You are welcomed from the moment you come in and after you finished and about to leave, the owner of the restaraunt is asking how was everything. This is a small touch that makes the difference. Moreover, they make the orders very quick despite the fact that there are a lot of customers! I also ordered delivery for a numerous times and that was quick too. The order is always correct, not missing anything. For that price and customer service, the place becomes absolutely pleasant. However, just a small change could make it even better: a new playlist with more suitable songs for this place. Sometimes it is too loud and awkward.
The flavors are an enchanting journey through Turkey's rich cuisine. The succulent kebabs and aromatic spices create a memorable experience. The friendly staff and cozy ambiance make it a perfect place to savor these delicious Turkish dishes. A must-visit for food enthusiasts!
Delicious food, good vibes, the staffs are very nice. Went around 3pm so there was lot of space, 1st floor views are even better. Their bread is amazing, and their main course was too good.
Delicious food - highly recommend visit this little gem in Canary Wharf.
Place is quite cozy (2 floors), nicely furnished. Staff is attentive and quick. The most important - food - very tasty and authentic. I love the mix of hot appetizers. Also, the hummus is very good.
Prices are reasonable for this location and quality. Highly recommend giving Moira a chance - very good spot for a lunch or dinner :)
I can’t stress how underrated Moira is for excellent Turkish/Mediterranean dishes. It’s located just a stone throw away from Canary Wharf and is excellent for delicious grilled kebabs, shish, and chops.
I usually go for Moira’s platers for 2 or 4, depending on how hungry you are, so you get a mix of everything delicious. If you are feeling like you want to splurge a bit more, get the lamb ribs.
I haven’t tried any of the seafood or starters, but Moira also has affordable lunch sets on weekdays if that’s something you prefer. Overall, they have excellent grilled dishes and you should definitely drop a visit if you live in London or work in Canary Wharf.
Found this nice place on a stroll through Canary Wharf. As I love Turkish Food a lot I gave it a go. Didn’t get disappointed. Service was friendly ( maybe the waitress could have smiled a bit more, but that is just me I guess). Food came quick and was delicious.
