Surrounded by other restaurants in a busy street in Stoke Newington, Bella Vistas is really a gem.
It is a beautifully decorated Italian restaurant that offers great food and a lovely selection of red wine.🍷
A special shout-out has to be to Luigi or Tony which he also called himself. He went out of our way to make our dinner special and also taught me some key words in Italian, that I should know!

It’s been open for over 30 years (being closed for 1 year and reopened back in November).
The food was delicious, we received complimentary tomatoes hot bread with olives and crisp bread before our pasta mains came.
The service was exceptional, the host was very genuine, welcoming and friendly.
We will 100% be going back.

We've had the same server, a gentleman who is always attentive and super friendly. All of the portions are generous and the food is delicious.
When we first visited and I was pregnant and not drinking, they brought over two small shots after dinner (and after a dessert on the house!). One was limoncello but I wasn't sure about the one meant for me, thinking that it was a different liquor and he maybe didn't understand why I was passing on it initially...it was apple juice! Very kind of them and accommodating. We've been back since and will continue to go here for date night!
Had a lovely meal at Bella Vista... Complimentary bread (which was fresh and warm) and olive selection.. We shared bruschetta - was more than enough between two and really enjoyed it. Pasta dishes were also lovely and generously portioned. The table next to us had seafood dishes which looked delicious.. The server was also friendly and attentive..and generally a great ambience for an evening meal.. Definitely will be going back (and getting take away on lazy nights!)
Lovely restaurant, the place is cute and pretty traditional looking, and the menu is very interesting. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the staff was ever so kind and caring, we felt like rockstars! Many thanks, we should definitely come back!
Not bad, food's good, service a bit hit and miss - one of our group of 6 got the wrong meal (pasta with clams rather than the pasta with ragu he ordered) but he was ok with that so he kept it - they offered to swap, but it was fine. A few minutes later someone on another table lost their starter when the waiter dropped it en route to their table! Entertainment thrown in fre of charge. Nice atmosphere; I had the rib eye steak for £20 which was tasty. Starters were good, lovely selection. Bill for six with most of us having 3 courses and 5 enthusiastic wine drinkers was £227.
First time I had the spaghetti lobster and loved it. Second time I ordered through JustEat. Today I had a seafood platter and it was delicious. I will definitely be back! Great value for money and lovely staff.
Our favourite restaurant reopened a short while ago and already the best Italian restaurant in Stoke Newington - now managed by the previous chef of many years. Very happy to return to this high quality, genuine and friendly icon of the area.
