Reviews Arthur's Cafe

Thrilled to discover a 'proper cafe' near to where I live in Kensal Rise. Family run for over 30 years with old-style traditional British 'grub'. Clean; proper Italian coffee machine. Great selection of food...nostalgic items like Knickerbocker Glory! Charming owner and staff and a business that well deserves local support and at such amazing prices!! Long may they survive!

The food I had was delicious: sausage not too salty, bacon was juicy, and the potatoes were tasty. What really puts this place over the top is the service and friendly faces. They really made me feel welcomed and more like family than a customer. This does not happen often, if at all nowadays. A hidden gem for sure!

Great place to have an English breakfast. Found this gem on maps here and wanted to try it out. It's the perfect place to start the day, the kind of restaurant visited by locals where prices are the right one, taste is great and the service top quality. The portions were quite large and since we tried many types of breakfast options, we could try everything. I would recommend it to anyone visiting that wants to try local stuff, not tourist traps. We paid 48£ including tip for English breakfast for 5 people! Bonus: located just beside the overground station which makes transport so easy.

Fantastic breakfast and cuppa with a lovely sidewalk seating area to enjoy the sun and breeze. The man and woman running the front were so lovely and I felt like a regular from the community! Highly recommend!

Cheap and cheerful caf. Great and welcoming service, good veggie all day breakfast, fascinating old photos of Kensal Rise in the 1890s. They just don’t make em like Arthur’s anymore!

The place to be. Full stop. Arthur's caf is a gem, run by fantastic staff, with a no-nonsense menu that hits the spot every time. Nothing quite like it in the early hours or if you need a headache to clear

Lots of choice, reasonably priced, great place. It's been there since the 1950's and has stood the test of time for a reason! It's reputation precedes it, making this review redundant, but it's more of a statement than anything.

Exactly what I had been looking for. So hard these days to find a good classic brekkie spot with black pud. Hit the spot! This is now a must when I’m in London

If I'm anywhere near this place, I always have my breakfast. Quality foot at a fantastic price Try there double cooked chips, how many cafes,s do that none of that frozen rubbish. The coffee is excellent and the ambience pleasant. One of the traditional Cafe s left in London passed down from family member to family member.
