Enjoyed a couple of pints in here whilst watching the footy. Quite busy but good atmosphere and quick service. Didn't eat here but the menu looked good.
great ambience for a sports pub, went to watch the world cup match on Friday afternoon and the place was packed with people supporting both sides. wrote a special request for a good view of the screen and they reserved a table right in front of the screen so could enjoy the game very much! but I rec
We stopped here before going to watch a Panto. The pub is 5 min walk from the Oxford Street station, so it’s the perfect location. 2adults, 2kids. We came at 5pm & managed to find a table, but it got busy very quickly. Food was served quickly, tasted really nice. There’s no kids menu btw. Toilets ar
Nice pub in the middle of the shopping area near Oxford Circus. A good place to give a few points while the girls are shopping (there is a good selection of draught and cask beer). Their lunch menu is quite big and the food was mostly quite tasty (at a manageable price).
Wow! Such an unassuming place! The chicken strips are the best I have had in a long time. The tacos, so tasty! Drinks, reasonably priced. Service, it's a small pub and I think for what they are working with they did great!! It was a nice quiet night when we went which I loved it!
The barman guy was so nice we order some pints and a sandwich to eat. The prices are average not expensive and the food is really good. if I need to point a but will be that The waiter was so in a hurry to tidy up even if we were not finished with our drinks and food. But the environment was fantas
2nd visit. Ordered the rump steak - delicious, cooked to perfection. Top marks. Had classic cheese & bacon burger and chips, with a pint - great value, just over a £10er. Patty really nicely cooked, juicy and delicious, ketchup, mayo & vinegar on every table. Huge flat screens with sports playing.
Charming backstreets (gastro) pub, it has good food and a really nice deal for starters. The pub does not have many seats but that makes for an intimate and pleasant layout, very comfortable and welcoming considering the location where other landlords might have piled seats to maximize patrons. T
As a Londoner born and bread I know quite a few pubs. The green man pub is such a gem in central london. The staff are so nice and the pub has a nice atmosphere. We don’t get food but it’s looks nice. Lucky to have this pub. Thank you to the staff for always making my visit’s enjoyable when I come.
Great little boozer if you not worried about decor. Cheap drinks and good atmosphere. Plenty of TVs to watch sports and the staff were very pleasant. Glasses are cleared away efficiently and tables wiped down after each visitor. Nice touch. Freshly made cocktails too. 🍸
Green Man, 7.7/10 I’d been on a heavy one the night before. Couldn’t remember much. Still felt a bit out of it. Slightly delirious. Needed the only sure-fire cure known to drinkers. Hair of the dog. This boozers located in Fitzrovia. Decent gaff. Spoonsey vibe. Like spoons but they have the footy
Pretty standard pub. Attentive staff at the bar but would have appreciated a warning that the audio on the football was going to be put on soon after we arrived. Excessively loud, hard to hear each other. However if you're going to watch football, great.
This pub has big screen for waching sport and also you can have some quite good food. In the evening is very crowded and popular with students and generally people looking for a quick evening dinner and not very expensive. Atmosphere is warm and service is quite good and fast.
Lovely little pub, great to watch sports or for an after work drink. Gets pretty loud because it's small with low ceilings.
you get what you are paying for. It's a pub, so keep your expectations low, and you won't be disappointed , for a Pub food was ok , staff friendly, atmosphere not so great, they need to improve the decor everything else is ok for Pub
Finger licking good...!!! Much much much better than Giggs Bloomsbury .... best fish and chips in central London till now.... the order might take long to come but it’s just because everything is freshly made...... *DELICIOUS*
