Small restaurant close to Baker Street. We had the green curry which was spicy, the fish cakes, a papaya salad and a squid and vegetables dish. The papaya salad had a bit too much dressing which made it soggy. All nice even if a bit too hot for me.

I always do take out, but I love this place. Staff are very welcoming and very quick to answer if you have any questions. Food has been AMAZING everytime I go, they are super quick and everything taste fresh. The mango sticky rice is a must.

Very tasty and delicious food! I enjoyed my dinner with friends here. Friendly stuff as well. You have to ask the special desert menu to get the mango rice or fried ice cream.

Really nice thai resraurant. The starters were nice, but they weren't that impressive for the price, just good. Mains were delicious though, the pad thai was great and the duck was super tender and with lot of flavor. Good service too. They have a really good lunch menu deal Monday to Friday that it's really worth the price!

We ate thai fish cakes, pad si-ew with chicken, and crab meat fried rice. They were all so delicious and the staff were so kind🥰 We had a great time here.

Good food, pleasant service, can't really complain. The baker Street/Marylebone area really lacks good Thai food so was pleased to find this place . The food was good, portion sizes are quite large and the service wonderful. Will I be returning to try something new...? Definitely! Few more things to tick off the menu

Sensational! Just do it. The sea bass with Thai herbs is so tasty and fresh, with just the right amount of heat, lime and sweet. Easy walk from Marylebone and Baker St. stations. Feel good, tastes amazing food!

Really loved it at Mortar + Pestle, delicious food and good value (mains are around £10-15). We enjoyed piping hot vegetable spring rolls (though an even number to share would have been better), a Tom yum prawn noodle soup, and a Thai green prawn curry. All the prawns come shelled which is great, but the curry portion was rather small and doesn’t come with rice - that is £3 extra. The staff advised this upfront as I was ordering, which was nice. We came for a quick bite to eat and a long catch-up, so didn’t try much else but the menu was extensive and I definitely want to return and order heaps more! What we did order was very flavoursome, and packed with juicy prawns and fresh vegetables.

Best Thai I have had! Simply amazing, well presented and fresh. The satay sauce with the chicken skewers is just amazing! Lovely lemongrass flavour and nice peanut flavour with a bit of chilli kick. We sampled a few starters and a couple of mains and everything was superb! Very good slur for money also considering the location in London. I would highly recommend this Thai restaurant! Fantastic! Also the staff were great and very friendly.

Mortar and Pestle Thai Restaurant has become one of my favorite spots around Regents Park and Baker Street. It's a standout choice for anyone looking for a nice, clean option in the area. The Thai dishes are authentic and flavorful, prepared with care and attention to detail. The ambiance is not bad, making it an ideal place for casual lunches. Overall delightful dining experience. If you find yourself near Baker Street and are in the mood for Thai cuisine, don't hesitate to visit Mortar and Pestle; you won't be disappointed. Ps: they do not accept American Express credit card :(

Awesome Thai food, simply presented. Decent portions, reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Last orders 1/2 hour before closing. A few vegetarian options, mostly by substituting tofu for animal protein. Lots of rice and noodle choices. Extensive drink and dessert options. Very simple modern dining room; two outdoor tables for when the weather is nice. Clean toilets (downstairs). Very good 2 course deal for lunch- incredible value! No additional service charge added or asked for when paying by card. If you need to take home leftovers, there is a £0.50 charge for each. Highly recommended, possibly the best Thai dining in London!

food is tasty but some items are not on the menu and therefore the prices are not shown. mango sticky rice is of pretty good quality yet the portion is quite less for the price.

The chicken massaman curry was really nice. Good spice ratio so not too spicy and was enjoyable with the fried rice. The jumbo prawn glass noodle was average, prawns lacked flavour and noodles was just okay.

What a finding! A small and somehow hidden place, with delicious food, and great service. Red curry was hot, but affordable and yummy, pad thai tastes great. Would repeat for sure!

Food tastes authentic Thai and we enjoyed it. Price is a bit high to London’s standard. Two of us ordered a papaya salad, a fish cake pancake, two curry main dishes — cost ~70£

Lovely, intimate little restaurant at 6 mins walk from Marylebone railway and tube station. A good range of dishes, the curry was very tasty and a good size too. The staff is very polite and discreet (which has become a rarity), but still able to check on you with grace and refill your water frequently. I also loved the minimal style of the interiors. Definitely a winner!
