A great little pub in a great location for drinks after work or just during the day if you are visiting. The ground floor area of the pub looks nice and quaint but if you go downstairs there is another huge bar area and further back a good garden. A good range of beers and wine too. Well worth a visit.

Pub in close proximity to St. Paul’s cathedral. Very laid back, classic pub with two floors. We both got the steak and ale pie which came with peas and mashed potatoes. We were full when we left! The service was just right, nobody bothering you, but you won’t be forgotten about. Stop by here if you’re close by!

Went here for a Sunday roast and was not disappointed. The service was fantastic, the food was amazing, everything was great. We were in a fairly large group where everyone had something different and everyone said the food was great. Highly recommend.

Had a steak and ale pie with a few different beers. Food was amazing and the staff there were very kind and helpful. Very cool atmosphere within the pub itself, especially the downstairs portion. Would definitely recommend if you are in the St. Paul's Cathedral area.

Had a really nice evening here. Just stayed for drinks but the place wasn't crowded and had a good vibe, seemed to attract all walks of life. Bar staff friendly and efficient. I would definitely drink here again. Can recommend the Flint Eye, which was very well looked after. 😊 👍

Had great food ave service in an awesome pub! Enjoyed the atmosphere downstairs as much as the food (steak and ale pie) and drink!

The food is nice, although there was no "still water" option when ordering via the app. They also didn't have mushy peas to go with our fish and chips, so we opted for regular green peas. The air conditioning needs to be turned down a lot, it's 20 degrees outside and there's absolutely no need for air conditioning whatsoever. It was warmer outside than inside.

I went on a Sunday and of course ordered a Sunday roast. The good thing about eating in pubs is that they don’t charge an extra fee for the service, you just pay for the food and it’s much more practical because you just pay as you would in McDonald’s and then get your food. I ordered a beef sirloin, which was £14,99 and although it was a bit dry by itself, the sauce made it so much better. Everything was good, I would recommend you to eat here. The cashier told us the burgers and sandwiches were pretty good as well but I wanted something traditional.

We really enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and service when we went here for dinner. I ordered fish and chips and my son, the steak and ale pie. Both were a good value--especially considering tax and tip are not added like I am used to. Find a table, check a menu, order at the bar, and give your table number. It's that simple.

Lovely old style pub in the shadow of St Paul's Cathedral. I was there for an event and was in a function room upstairs, with its own bar. Very spacious room with lots of seating space, friendly staff, we had a lovely buffet of delicious food. The only downside was that I sat in a seat which dipped down so ended up in a hole, lol. But aside from that, I really enjoyed the visit

I’ve walked past this pub for many years but had never visited until today. To be honest its name and proximity to St Paul’s Cathedral put me off, as I wrongly assumed that it was a tourist place. Really friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. A much bigger space downstairs although closed on a quiet January afternoon. Loved the huge wooden balustrades that dominate the street level bar area. A Greene King pub but I was happy to find Timothy Taylor Landlord on draught. Even a garden out back - a rarity in The City of London. A hidden gem in plain sight!
