It's one of my top 10 restaurant in London, love the food, and tequila cocktails and the service is just amazing. I would recommend to anyone who wants to have a good time!

Really spectacular venue, interiors, food, and drinks but are excessively expensive and the portions are extremely small. So I would have a light meal before going and take out plenty of means to pay.

Killer cocktails. Adorable and delicious mini tacos, calamars and cactus salad to start were perfect and the baby chicken was gorgeous with patatas bravas - so good.

I tried Peyote for the first time on my birthday. The atmosphere is fun and buzzing and the services quick and professional. We tried an assortment of cocktails and food for the table to share. Something has to be said for the Peyote Margarita, which is potentially the best cocktail I have every had. Food-wise, you can't go wrong with the ceviche. I am also a big fan of the crisp tacos. The upstairs bar is great for a nightcap. An all-round solid choice for a night out with friends. My only caveat is that it's rather pricey!

As a vegetarian Mexican food usually is a great choice as there is a wide selection to order from. Peyote was good but I felt there could have been a few more options besides he salads. Service was very good except that they asked us to leave as hey had another reservation. A little over priced for what it is. Great tequila Negroni.

A good place for Mexican cuisine in London, the place is very chic and located in Mayfair. The restaurant was a bit understaffed but the food made up for it.

We ordered for the guacamole which came with crisp tortillas and was accompanied by various salsas, was very good. The small taco platter which was with mushrooms and another with yellow tail was average. The veg salads we ordered were really good (beet root, quinoa and beans). The best dish which we had here was the queso cheese with tortillas, the chicken enchiladas were also nice.

The desserts were amazing ordered the churros and whiskey caramel custard. Would highly recommend this place to everyone

A minimalist website with no pictures, no menu and the somewhat discreet entrance on Cork Street, Mayfair made dining at Peyote a bit of a mystery. This intimate up-scale Mexican restaurant appears to be the first of its kind and is the creation of Arjun Waney, the man behind some of London’s trendiest restaurants including Coya and Zuma.

When my friends told me we were going for dinner at a fancy Mexican place, I didn’t really know what to expect, but I couldn’t have expected better. This is the perfect place if you’re craving a nice night out for drinks and good food in a place with a really good vibe. It’s Mexican, yes, but don’t expect nachos and burritos: expect really good fish dishes and a contemporary take on quesadillas and tacos. This place has a great selection of dishes, from raw fish to tostadas and hot dishes. The best way to go with this place is to order a bunch of small dishes to share, depending on how many people you’re with: for two people, 2 ceviches and 1 hot dish is usually enough.

I recommend the guacamole while you’re waiting on your food, great for early-dinner chatting and a drink. The ceviches are also great and fresh: my favorites are the lobster and sole ceviche. The laminadas (finely cut pieces of raw fish with lemon are also excellent), especially the salmon and the yellow tail, great to share, and very refreshing. The prawn tempura tacos are also a must: very tasty and appetizing. I tend to like sticking to the starter dishes in this place, but the Chilean sea bass as a main is also great if you’re looking for a warm, complete meal.

The décor in this place is also great, dim lights, and painted Mexican sugar skulls everywhere. Dress code is quite fancy, again, great if you’re looking for a nice night out. The place is set on two levels, where the lower floor is more restaurant-like, while the upper floor is a bit more loungy. The bar is also on the top floor, and offers an enormous selection of Tequila. You can finish your food and sit at the bar if you feel like your night isn’t over. Thursdays are very alive, bar closes at 1:30 am, and 2 am on Fridays and Saturdays.

Reservations are necessary in advance, or you won’t find your place. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity you get.

An unconventional but really nice touch on Mexican food. Very stylish decor, the restaurant is set on two levels, having a bar upstairs. A great selection of tequila and cocktails. Food comes in small platters to share, mainly sea food based. A great selection of ceviches. Prawn Quesadillas were my favorite. Waiters are very nice. Reservations in advance are necessary because this place is always full. A nice place to have a drink and a light dinner.

The most beautifully presented Mexican food I've seen with the added pleasure of Mayfair ambience and people watching but of course at Mayfair prices. The ceviches, laminados, tinga de pollo, and tequila list cannot be missed.

Great, tasty food and friendly staff. Peyote is a discrete restaurant in the heart Central London. The ribeye, fried calamari with the chilli aoli, the potatoes, the cocktails - everything is good. Relatively young crowd on a Friday night, with chilled house music playing in the background. If you're a fan of Mexican fusion, you'll like it.

Vibey small restaurant in the heart of Mayfair - with a price tag but what I would say is a hidden gem. Not everyone has heard about this place and its on a quiet road so if you want something 'off the menu', this is it. If you want a place with a good lively atmosphere with very good food and more of a bar/restaurant feel, this is your place. I have been hitting this spot for a number of years now and its a great place for a Friday/Saturday night out before you wonder of into one of the clubs. I recommend booking a table in advance if there are more than 3 of you. And ofcourse you are just of Dover street and Ceconnis so expect to get your wallet out. When I remember going for a meal (I usually just go for a drink or 2 at the bar - which is small but worth it), it set me and a friend back about 150 GBP and drinks are around 20 quid per cocktail. But again if you are even considering a place like this, you are happy to spend. Also the owner has just opened up a quieter restaurant in Notting Hill as a sister to this. So if you really like the food and want something more traditional sit down, you can go there - Peyotito Notting Hilll

I've been here twice and both experiences were amazing. The service: I can't say enough about how great the service is. The hostesses are always friendly and willing to help out. My parents and I were seated next to a very loud table and the hostess quickly found us another table within minutes with no fuss. The chefs are great, I have an allergy and they are quick to modify the dishes for me. I got the same waiter both times and he is very knowledgable about the menu and suggested alternative dishes for the ones where the ingredient couldn't be removed and I was very happy with them! The bartenders are extremely friendly, special shout out to Andre who took good care of me and my friends the first time and equally my parents the second time. The food: SO FREAKING GOOD. every single item I have ordered on the menu so far has been nothing short of godliness in flavor. Even though I was full after the starters I still ate every last bite because I knew I would regret not eating it the next day. I strongly recommend the seafood risotto. Overall great experience, you will not regret coming here.

I can’t say I was overly impressed by Peyote. There were 11 of us dining so we had a private dining room which was awesome! The portion sizes are super tiny so in turn we wound up getting really drunk off the amazing margaritas. If you’re wanting a meal, this isn’t your place. It’s best to know that you’re coming for tapas and drinks!

Went here for an early dinner 7.30 pm and it was a great experience. The atmosphere was a very happy relaxed vibe with different types of clientele. The decor is really cool and they have a DJ playing great music, but not too loud or intrusive. Now for the food! Loved it! The Sea Bream was delicious and the Lobster seafood rice. The staff seem to enjoy their job too. Will be back

Arrived thinking I hated tequila, left absolutely loving it! Great cocktails, really nice atmosphere, my friend was visiting from NYC and said she'd definitely recommend to her friends back home. Drinks are reasonably priced.

What a fantastic place! Great food option to share with the entire table and delicious wine as well. There's a DJ playing during the evening, but the music isn't intrusive at all and you can enjoy each others company.
