As a tourist in the United Kingdom and a coffee addict, I loved their double espresso as it has a unique taste. It’s a good atmosphere for studying .
Delightful coffee and really cool interior !
Popped in for a coffee and sat in one of those great super comfy couches! The coffee was pretty good, a soy flat white. It came out quickly and was nice and hot.
The staff were nice enough. Will probably be back one day soon to try the food!
Whitecross Street seems like a brilliant 1 anyway and fix is well worth a visit. Echoing sentiments in another review, the white mocha is sick, with a banging sweet finish
Absolutely my favourite coffee shop in London, and not just because of the beautiful barmaid who may or may not have turned me down when I eventually plucked up the courage to ask her out!
Their coffee is fantastic, and it is the only place I have enjoyed a White Mocha - which currently is my single favourite drink in the world right now. I also come here most sundays after playing football nearby, and their smoothies are absolutely amazing after you have worked up a sweat. It is only one of the highlights of my week coming here with my friends.
The only real negative is that the Internet they have is absurd. You have to pick up a new username and password every hour, and the internet connection itself isn't particularly great. Its probably OK if you're just stopping in to check emails or something, but I once came here hoping to get a significant amount of work done and it was pretty hopeless.
Aside from that, Fix is a gem and I would recommend coffee and smoothie lovers in london to give it a chance!
Cafe Fix is a fantastic place to go and work at or enjoy a reading. Their smoothies are out of this world. Large and comfortable, the venue itself looks cosy (mainly due to the gigantic couches in the middle). Prices are reasonably cheap. I recommend it if you are searching calm place to be at while treating yourself with a tasty smoothie.
Fix is one of my favourite cafes in London, or it would be if they sorted out their internet problem. This cafe is located on Whitecross street which has a market on every week day between 12 and 4. Fix has a great choice of small bites and sandwiches, however the smoothies they serve are fresh and made right in front of you with real fruits and ice... a real piece of goodness when you are looking for place to work outside your home.
When Hansen’s MmmBop is playing when you walk in you know it’s going to be a good coffee shop. Ok not really. But this time it’s true.
This place had been in my radar and I was pleased. Good coffee. Great croissant. Maybe it was just a frozen thing, I don’t know, but I got it freshly baked and it was delicious!
Really great atmosphere and lively 90s music playing the whole time. I very much enjoyed the hour or two I spent here on their free Wi-Fi.
10/10 would recommend.
Fashionable coffee in a New York loft style location, on the edge of the market. Always has a few people with laptops working in the corner, no doubt enjoying the good coffee. The single espresso is bold and strong, served in a tiny thimble-like glass. I really quite like it that way! Staff seem friendly, and there are magazines to read if you are hanging around on your own, or comfy sofas to chat with a friend. Worth a visit if you are in the area.
The coffee is good no matter who makes it, staff are always friendly and cool music choices. Work here everyday of my life, nice and comfortable. Their air con has made the last 3 months bearable.
This is our go to coffee place to work. They open late, very cosy. Staff are very nice. It is behind the main road, so not hugely crowded also. Would highly recommend it!
Great coffee place. Have all the milk alternatives along with some great coffee beans. They always say where the beans are from, and you can taste the amazing flavour in the coffee. Nice place to get some work done, read or if you are just looking to catchup with friends. They have some ready to go good as well, but obviously the coffee is what’s best here.
Ideal to work (quiet, many plugs all around, tables and comfy couches) or to just have a nice coffee. Also, the staff is super nice and I have 2 examples for that! 1. I accidentally spilled my drink and they not only cleaned immediately but also offered to do my drink again for me 2. an old lady got anxious while waiting for someone and they offered her comfort and food. Only one suggestion, I would add more food
First class coffee shop, everyone is so friendly (shout out to Szymon who is always on top form and has the best hair) and the coffee is brilliant. Love that it’s inclusive here!
Fantastic coffee shop situated in the busy street.
Plenty of space to work or chat. The coffee is amazing with a few roasts on offer.
The reward card app system is great and who doesn't love a free coffee.
My flat white was £3.25 and in my opinion, a bit large compared to a standard flat white....
Definitely recommend

Brilliant friendly coffee shop with a selection of salads, soups, stews including vegan options.
The cakes are so tempting, the chocolate brownies looked so incredible and moist, it took so much willpower not to buy them!
Coffee was delicious and perfectly done.
Really lovely staff
Set in the heart of Whitecross market this coffee place is a welcome to the street. Great if you need to work with space to put laptops or just lounge with comfy sofas. Staff were very friendly and the coffee was a good standard. Some quirky things lurking around if you look at the detail.
Excellent espresso, fun pastries, eclectic soundtrack, lovely staff. Equally great whether you go with a friend, a book or a laptop.
I recently visited FWD:Coffee again and it was good.
The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about their products, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming.
The flat white, which I had was rich and flavorful, and the almond croissant was fresh and delicious. I appreciate that they use ethically sourced coffee beans and offer dairy-free milk options for those with dietary restrictions.
The seating area gets busy and is pretty basic. Popular coffee shop in the area.
Very good place to sit down and get the work done, or just to catch up with your friends or partners.
Wi-fi, very well done coffee, comfortable seats alongside all big windows, and especially cozy leather sofas. Very laptop-friendly.
Walked around the street 3 times and finally got a seat, thanks for really kind staff 🥰. Coffee and the Portuguese dessert was so good :) lucky there was 1 left otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to control myself 😓🙄 set for awhile, place was not too hot not too cold, good atmosphere 😅
Great coffee and pastries in a nice relaxed room. Lovely staff too.
Coffee was good! Nice Neighbourhood coffee house that's comfortably and conducive for doing work. There's also comfy couches to lounge and chill. No frills and accommodating staff.
I went to Fix because I needed to work on my papers and couldn’t bare being trapped between 4 walls. Reviews said it was a good place to study and it was very close to home. I ordered a black coffee and a chipotle chicken with chorizo, which were both very good. The barristas were very friendly. I was able to concentrate for 3 straight hours because even though the place was full, the people were speaking quietly and the ambiance was calm. The music also helped with the concentration. I would definitely come back every time I need to focus on my studies, or maybe with friends for a nice cup and coffee in a cozy welcoming place.
