The Load Of Hay Tavern - London - Photo album

A simple roadside pub on Haverstock hill, The Haverstock Tavern offers a fine range of beers from both cask and keg. A good place to drop in for a beer.
Nice and helpful staff, good outdoor seating area, variety of good beers, cider, wine and alcohol drinks. It was a Sunday afternoon and the kitchen was closed so didn’t get chance to eat there but hopefully will try their food next time .
Wide selection of draught beers and fantastic outside seating, the best pub experience I've had in Haverstock, a very enthusiastic team who quickly rectified a small mistake with their apologies. Left feeling very warm and very keen to revisit!
Lovely pub with a great atmosphere. We really enjoyed the food, we all had roasts and the quality was evident in the cooking of everything, including the vegetables, excellent nut roast too, delicious. Friendly, enthusiastic staff, a range of great beers, wines well-chosen also. And I've learned the
Really nice, traditional style boozer about 10 minutes’ walk up the hill from Chalk Farm and the round house. And being out of the way a little - quite a lot quieter than the pubs in Camden Centre. 3 choices of hand drawn ale and half a dozen or so tap beers. A relatively limited food offering but
A proper local with a good selection of well-kept beer, run by a pleasant man who actually knows what he's doing (which certainly doesn't describe too many publicans nowadays)! Two pints of Harvey's Bitter (an unusual find in London) cost us only £8, which is good for London in general, and pretty
Great pub for a drink and casual sports viewing. Nice beer garden for the occasional nice days. No food was a downside
Great pub for watching sport. Really good bar crew too. Very much enjoyed my visit.
Brilliant patio. Surprised it’s not packed all the time.
We stopped there for a quick pint the other day at this nice pub. Very friendly and kind staff. They have great outdoor space, that can be lovely on a Sunday day.
The food was very good, much nicer than I had expected from a pub.
It's a really good, boozer this. I'm disappointed I didn't take any pictures of our food, but the prices were reasonable, the portions plenty, the food tasted good and the staff friendly. Great chilled decor, and I would recommend a visit and perfect for a Sunday afternoon roast while watching the r
Only visited for a late night beer. It's a friendly bar, slightly cliquish with the weekend locals; I'd try a second visit when in the area.
Nice pub, great manager who had a great chat with, going to be back for the awesome ale and Happy Hour 😁😂
Good beer fast service friendly staff. Didn't order food so no rating for that
Really tasty Sunday roast, one of the best we have had in London recently. Good sized pub and welcoming atmosphere. Would have liked the option of a milk stout / porter but if you're a lager or ale fan you'll be fine here. Decent wine list too. Tables near the bar are a bit too close to where people
Edit: Serves a perfect pint of Guinness My wife and I live locally and have been a few times these past couple of weeks. Friendly staff, extensive beer selection and good food options for vegan customers which is a nice touch. Try the vegan cheeseboard! Thanks to all the staff for bringing a great
You will be delighted. Great selection of cask and keg, food is spot on. Also loved the music. Oh and proper glassware. Lot of completion round here, but this is right up there.
Popped in here the other night barman was polite. Had the football on which was a bonus. The place those food but had shut earlier probably as it was boxing day. Seems more like a local feel to the place rather than passing trade. Definitely pop in again
