Quite a nice looking bar offering a reasonable selection of lagers although not much on offer for the beer drinker.
Food is ordered at the bar though that's not immediately obvious as you walk in.
The burger was fine - pretty much what I'd expect from a pub burger. I wasn't blown away but I wasn't disappointed either.
The ham, egg and chips were served on a cold plate. Bit odd for a mostly hot meal. That said, everything tasted alright so it's a minor point.
Asked for some English mustard - this came out in a small pot but had clearly been open for a while judging by the skin forming on top.
All in all, not bad just mostly average.
This watering hole is situated adjacent to the Excel Centre on the walkway from Custom House Station.
The bar offers good quality food with a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Please note that this place gets busy and service could be improved on during these times.
Oh my word what a find! You walk in and because it’s quite big, you kind of get the impression that you’ll have a weatherspoon experience, but because it’s at the Excel you also expect prices to be inflated. I couldn’t have been more wrong. The staff was friendly, and exceptional, the food( Burger) top class and a good selection of quality drinks, and reasonably priced and good value . Very pleasantly surprised, don’t look further…
Stopped by on a weekend for some drinks when it was really busy, bar staff were all great and attentive, especially our server Katie who was so good at getting the queues down quick. Really fab atmosphere will deffo come back again:))
Bartender Jade is absolute lovely, so sweet and took time to tell me the prices of anything I asked
Very friendly staff and pretty good choices for beer and wine. 2 glasses of medium Sauvignon Blanc for £18.

Very modern industrial feel to the pub but being next to excel serves excellent purpose for a quick drink
Quite large sized so feels less cosy but good food and drinks options
The Fox is quite amazing when it's not a Comic Con weekend. Great staff and service, highly recommend.
Had I wonderful night after taking my dog out for a long walk. I decided that we should find somewhere to eat and have a drink. Fortunately, I had stumbled across the Fox which also happened to be dog friendly. I was able to grab us both some dinner and a drink , well several 😅. Table service was very pleasant, and a fine waiter named Conna had greeted me very kindly and welcomed me and the dog. He took initiative and asked if the dog would also like something to drink, and kindly provided a bowl for the dog. It was rather sweet.
I ordered a fish burger with extra fries and was even able to get my dog a side of chicken breast . The food came rather timely and managed to cheesecake as a little treat for myself. Would come again :)

Extremely great service. Came down on my day off to spend the night with a few of my mates for a few drinks and something too eat. It has been one of the most refreshing and enjoyable nights I have spent over the last few months. Food menu choices were rather rich and had many choices to choose from. I was served by a waiter named Conna, who had highly recommended the chicken poppers as a starter, which I highly thank him for. Had a Cheese and Bacon burger which I had ordered with sweet potato fries, it was rather tasty and went down well with an ice cold Moretti.
I just wished that I had booked Wednesday off , as they have live music.
Overall, made a real difference to my month.

AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE! Judith served our table and she was ever so sweet! She was so accommodating to me and my kids, making sure we had all our needs met. Will definitely be visiting again!
I was at the Fox after event over the XL last week and stopped in for a spot of lunch and a couple of drinks.
Was very happily surprised at the quality of the food I’d like to give a special mention to the person that served us (I think I know was Violette). Extremely helpful and went and checked with the kitchen about what the food contained because of a couple of dietary requirements that I have. Overall I really great place to eat and have a couple of drinks if you’re close by.
Lovely place to stop and have a drink or meal. I had never been before but enjoyed my time there, we were served by Jack who was polite and friendly. Thank you for a great experience.
