Fantastic restaurant hidden away in leadenhall market. Food was prepared to such a high standard and tasted fresh. Ordered the baby octopus for starters which was delicious. The portion size was good and they were very generous with the octopus. This came in a tomato sauce which was spiced perfectly
Very nice restaurant with a cozy decoration. The staff made us feel very comfortable throughout the dinner, always pending on our requests and helping us to choose. The food was delicious, right on the cooking point and the presentation was flawless.

Really nice Italian place with good food. Could have had a wider variety of food.
My wife and I visited on a November Thursday afternoon around 2pm. The staff was very busy which may have caused minor delays. If you are not patient or understanding and are in a rush, maybe not the best option. With that said, we were not there much more than an hour and it was a comfortable pace.

The food was amazing, but also the staff was very accommodating. They treated us so cordially which is not always the case at busy lunch spots. I had the homemade ravioli and it was delish. I highly recommend.
A very pleasant local culinary Italian, the chef was truly on top during my last visit with the seafood pasta with langoustine being impressively good!
Osteria del mercato is in the best site of the City. A little jem a bit difficult to find... It is on the first floor of Leaden Hall market. Food is really amazing. I tried the octopus, calamari and king prawns. All really perfect. Next time I will come to taste the pastas....

Love this restaurant. Great food and atmosphere. Service always exceptional. I mainly take clients there, who are always impressed but equally a great place for a romantic meal. Very much a hidden gem in the City. You won't be disappointed.
