The food was lovely and the staff were very friendly. We had the jerk chicken and curried goat. The price was beyond reasonable, especially for London and I would 100% recommend coming here if you’re in the soho area.

My daughter and I were visiting while vacationing in London. Yesterday we googled this restaurant and decided to go. When we got there the gentleman host informed us they only taking takeaway at this time. First, we didn’t know what “takeaway” was. Then we thought oh “takeout.” We immediately thought that’s cute! Anyway, the gentleman host was kind and accommodating to offer we could stay and have dinner. At this point, we were so appreciative and grateful. I had the jerk chicken dinner and my daughter had the curry goat dinner. Simply delicious! Best decision we’ve made. I highly recommend this restaurant. We loved the artwork throughout the restaurant and the music played was R&B. It felt like we were still in Chicago.

Visiting from Sydney Australia. This was our first time eating jerk chicken. We loved it. Very tasty chicken and very filling rice. Delicious meal. Thank you to the male manager that was running the floor that night, he was very attentive.

Food was really good. Jerk chicken rice and peas was on point. Only slight complaint was that service was a bit slow - but I'm willing to overlook it as food was good. Old Caribbean aunty but she nice. RECOMMEND.

Visiting London from the US for the first time, I was looking for authentic jamacian food near my hotel. I came across Joyce's Jerk Joint. I had the curry goat with sweet plantains, rice and peas. The food was fresh, delicious, and the people were kind and welcoming.

I'm a flight attendant and was on a 24-hour layover in London. I knew I wanted to visit the soho area, so I googled "Caribbean food near soho," and that's how I discovered Joyce's Jerk Joint. It has so many good reviews that I had to check it out. And I do not regret it one bit! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with such warmth by a gentleman named Wayne. The decor and the good vibes added to the amazing ambiance. I ordered the oxtail plate with a side of fried plantain (of course). I also took some fried chicken and bake/salt fish for the flight home. The oxtail is sooooo delicious and tender. It was literally falling off the bone! The rice n peas, perfect! I ate every drop! It was so nice to eat food that feels like home. Also, to be noted, the bathroom is very clean and even has some incense sticks 👌🏾. I really don't have any complaints at all. Wayne even showed me an old picture of him and his grandmother. Grandmothers are so special, so this really touched my heart. This is a black owned family business, and I will definitely be going back to show them more love and support. Thank you so much for the kindness and hospitality. 5 stars all the way, I most definitely recommend you pay them a visit!

The customer service here is fantastic. Both occasions I’ve been here, there’s been a different woman at the til but every time they have been friendly and welcoming. Last time I was there, my order took longer than expected and the kind girl on the til offered me a drink to make up for it. It’s gestures like this that keep people coming back. The takeaway portions are very big and the rice is always cooked well. The jerk chicken dumplings are delicious

Fabulous authentic food, in a clean and tidy establishment, served by a cheerful guy.... What's not to like!! Try the Curry Goat with rice and peas - it's the most tender and succulent meat I've had in a long time.
