I had the best tart in my life: sprouting broccoli, gorgonzola & walnut tart, dresses leaves. My friends has burgers with chips and some salad. They all looked great and tasted just as good. Prices are medium range and the service was great. Great views, big windows with lots of light. Definitely recommend.

What a warm and cozy little gem on a cold, grey day! The spicy, piping hot mulled wine thawed my frozen fingers whilst I read through the menu. Shepherd's pie - food for the soul as well as the tummy - was my choice, and it was delicious! Kudos to the staff who are friendly, chatty and efficient. 💞

We took advantage of the £5 Sunday roast offer (if you spend £10 pp on drinks) which made it great value, otherwise (at £17 for beef, £13.50 for veggie) the roast would have been very expensive for the portion size. Two small roast potatoes is not enough. However the vegetarian nut roast (vegan friendly) was delicious as was all the accompanying veg and gravy. Friendly service. Dog friendly venue. Massive wine selection. The main food menu also looks to be extensive with plenty of veggie options

Warm and friendly wine bar, limited wine menu but intriguing, great cheese selection though. Great if you live in the area.

Great Sunday lunch. Service excellent, food good, tremendous value and reliable. Not our first visit and won't be our last. Bought a £30 + bottle of wine between 3 and the £17 roast beef was charged at £5 each. As we would have had the wine anyway the deal was excellent.

Great roasts on a Sunday - crispy potatoes and hefty portions! Just what you want on a Sunday. Very dog friendly! Good wine selection - Wednesday wine night is worth a visit to buy bottles at retail price.

I popped in today for coffee. I was so impressed. I met Helen (gorgeous) who was working there this afternoon and she looked after me and my lab Lulu beautifully. The Cork and Bottle has a classical atmosphere so you feel at home. It's immaculate and big window bright. A lovely experience. I will look forward to visiting again. Soon x

The white horse is dead! Long live the Cork and Bottle! Very happy to see a great wine selection alongside some great food in a really nice atmosphere. Lots of space between tables in the dining space, the bar has a nice buzz and there is even a competitively priced takeaway wine list.

Saturday night. I walk in alone to have a glass of wine after a long day. The gentleman behind the bar welcomed me with a warm smile and made me feel like home. Later on I decided to eat something. The young lady on the floor took very good care of me. I work in hospitality too and when I visit places genuine like this, I feel grateful meeting beautiful people around me. Ideal experience.

Great food and cocktails. Slightly more expensive than I would like but the quality of the food and friendliness of the staff make it justifiable. Thank you to Nicky best service I’ve received in a long time.
