Yao Kee - London - Photo album

Best Chinese food in London, hands down. The owners are so nice and always remember our usual requests. Veggie spring rolls are the best. They have also taken steps to keep things Covid secure. We've now moved out of London but would definitely order again if we find ourselves back in the area.
This is the best Chinese food I have had thus far in London. It is fresh - the kitchen is right in front of you. The food is not your typical casual Chinese spot as it has a homey and healthy feel to it. They have much more vegetarian options than most Chinese spots do, including the best vegetarian
Standard Chinese but my favourite in the area because everything feels fresher and not overly greasy. Tbh, I just order crispy shredded beef which I can highly recommend- crispy, saucy and balanced flavour. Always very quick, just give them a call and collect if you can.
Yao Kee serves some of the nicest Chinese takeaway you can find in London. The beef ho-fun (dry) are done to perfection and recently had Ma-Po tofu with spicy ground beef which was amazing. The owner is a really nice guy and the portions are very generous. I have been going to Yao Kee for over 10
Yao Kee is my favourite place to eat in New Cross, the pork and aubergine is incredible. I don’t know what they do to make the aubergine so silky and luxurious but it’s absolutely delicious. The people who work there are polite and welcoming, whether you eat in or take away - the person who takes m
Simply the best Chinese takeaway food I have had in my life. Pick any of the "meals" on the wall and you will come back everyday if you can. I go there 3-4 times a week and have never been decepointed. Best value for money in the world. Worth an hour of travel!
Yao Kee is the best place for Chinese food in London. Hands. down. Truly underrated but thats sort of its charm, as is the customer service style. Food is delicious, big portions , warm prawn crackers. spicy tofu on point. 5*
Yao Kee has a Roast Duck Noodle soup worth travelling for. You'd think crispy duck in a soup is impossible, but the chef's technique is to fill the soup with so much veg and noodles that the duck sits on top, with the meat marinading in the broth and the crispy skin above the liquid. Great for cold
Best mapo tofu in London, and you can also have it without meat! Cheap as well. Truly underrated. I find the lady perfectly friendly, she's just matter of fact.
Reasonable price and good food!!
I’ve eaten in and taken away from Yao Kee for a year now. Great and quick service even when busy and amazing tasty food. Always welcoming and will always recommend to my friends. 😊
Best Chinese in New Cross. Good flavours and reasonable prices. The only thing they don't do are set meal ranges for 2+.
amazing food and lovely couple. Aubergine and pork is the best dish on the menu. They are very clean friendly and polite.
A Chinese takeaway restaurant where often by student from Goldsmiths, University of London. It serves authentic Chinese meal and the prices are reasonable. However, its noodles are terrible.
It is amazing! Their hot and sour soup is unforgettable, it makes you have 2 or 3!! I go here overtime I'm in new cross gate!
The owners are super friendly and such a lovely pair. The food is delicious. I recommend the pork fried rice.
